Odalia had come to pick Amity up, who was still asleep, and Luz brought her down with a blanket and her things. Odalia left, Luz went back inside, then wished she had jumped in the car with Odalia. "Camilla." Luz tipped her head forward.

"Why are you still here? Go get your things, we're going on vacation." Camilla pat her shoulder.

Luz paused, "Can I bring a friend this time?"

"Fine. They have to be ready in twenty minutes." Camilla whistled.

Hooty and Owlbert glided out of her room, landing on her shoulder, bouncing up and down. "Hey Hooty~ Nice to see you finally out here." Luz kissed his beak.

"Crrroo~ Hoot! Hoot hoot!"

Luz pat Owlbert's head, going upstairs, unlocking her phone. She tapped quickly at her phone, moving it up against her ear. "What's up Luzer?"

"Matt, how fast can you get your passport and a luggage ready?"

"Are you sure?" Mattholomule looked to Luz. "I-I don't think I should be here--"

Luz pat his back, "Neither should my pet mouse but here we are." Luz looked around. "Lucky.."

Vee looked over, sticking her tounge out, "Vee, don't be rude to your sister." Clara poked her cheek.

"But-"

Mattholomule gulped, "I don't think I should be here-"

Luz wrapped an arm around him, "I want you to be here. I would have taken Amity, but she was busy. So I thought, why not take my brother? I'll pay for everything while you're with us Matt, cause Gorilla is going to go with you and me so we'll buy from every store."

The guard ruffled Luz's hair, grunting softly, "Gorilla, come here." Lilith waved him over. "They need to get your height for your seat."

He frowned, "Ghrrnn?? Gnn.."

*Again? Coming..

Luz elbowed Matt, pointing to the lines of shops, "Want anything to eat? We'll get a five course meal but you might not like it." Luz leaned in. "AKA, I won't either, please ask for two pizzas."

Vee shuffled closer, leaning back, "Make that three, and a cookie brownie dessert please."

Clara giggled, "No peppers on my half."

Vee hummed happily, a blush crossing her cheeks, "I love your giggle Clara, it's one of my favorite sounds~" Vee kissed her cheek.

Luz pushed Vee's face away, Clara and Mattholomule laughing when Vee nearly fell due to the weight of her backpack. "Okay okay. Let's go get some pizza before boarding." Mattholomule side hugged Luz. "Onwards comrades!"

Mattholomule felt small, in the jet. Luz was talking to Philip about the interview she had unfortunately been forced to do, Hunter was sleeping, Clara and Vee were watching a movie together, and Echo freaking ditched him!

So yeah, he felt small. Smaller than usual. Mattholomule got out of his seat, going over to Luz's, gripping the hem of his shirt. "Luz.."

She looked up, "What's up?"

He mumbled as he sat down by her, leaning against her. "........."

Luz cooed, wrapping an arm around him, "I've got you Matty." She looked back to Papillion– Philip. "After the interview, are we getting the next few days off?"

"He is, you are not." Philip looked to the tablet Lilith lended him. "Which is a bad idea, let's change this schedule. You're still young after all."

He hummed softly as he changed the schedule, standing and going to the front of the jet. "WHAT!? WE CAN'T JUST- GIVE HER TIME OFF!!"

"It sucks to be you Lily, Luz is going to have fun with her friend while we're here." Philip spoke, then came back, sitting down. "Drat, I left my sketchbook in my luggage."

Luz pointed to Vee, "You can borrow her drawing tablet, it comes with a stylus. Vee!"

The twin looked over, Clara pausing the movie, "What's up Ugly?"

"We share the same face Stupid." Luz stuck her tounge out. "Thankfully not the same mind. Can Philip borrow your drawing tablet?"

Vee nodded, "Sure! Be careful with the song app, it's possesed." She pulled it out of her bag, offering it to Philip.

He leaned over and took it, tapping it, "Uh.."

"The password is Clara. Just a capital C." Vee said, leaning against her girlfriend.

Clara rolled her eyes, smiling and leaning against Vee. "C..l..aaarr...a.." Philip typed, cooing when the tablet revealed a beautifully drawn background.

He pressed the icon with a pen, removing the magnetic stylus, creating a new file. Matt whispered softly to Luz, the Latina nodding and getting up. "We'll be there in about eleven hours. So you can sleep as long as you'd like." Luz gently guided Matt to the back.

Lying down on the bed, Matt pulled the covers over, Luz sitting by his head, caressing his cheek. "Thanks Luz.."

"Don't worry about it Matty," Luz brushed back his hair. "Thanks for telling me you felt left out. Love you Matt."

He sniffled, "Love you too Luz-"

She smiled, "Now go to sleep. I'll wake you up for lunch."
