Thursday.

School was nice, Amity and Luz planned out the rest of the project, no akumas after school. Then Luz had a photoshoot, but had Amity over. "Lilith I have a project to work on-" Luz closed the door a bit. "We can do it tomorrow-"

"Your photographer won't be here tomorrow or this entire month. We do it now." Lilith pushed the door open a bit more. "Get downstairs."

Amity glanced over, waving at Lilith and continuing to work on the code. "I have to work on this with Amity, we're almost done--"

"Luz. Downstairs. Now." Lilith stepped back and pointed to the staircase.

The brunette shook her head, "I have schoolwork to finish. The project-"

'Slap' Luz drew back, reaching for her cheek, glancing up at Lilith before stepping back. "I said downstairs." Lilith hissed.

Amity stared, watching as Luz bowed and stepped out of the room, following Lilith out. Plagg growled, spitting on a napkin conveniently placed there, huffing and sitting down. "I hate her." He uttered. "She's such a-- A-- I don't know!"

"Hush Plagg.." Amity stood, setting everything down. "Does..Does she do that often..? Does Luz ever say anything about it..?-"

He glanced up at Amity, and sighed. "I've seen my share of abuse to my holders..From unwanted play, touch, or mental and physical abuse..None of them could handle it and always went to their bug for help. And it worked. They would forget about their problems and move on."

Tikki sat by Plagg, placing her paw on his back, "And since Chat sends Plagg to care for Luz, he's seen..Alot.."

Amity clenched her fist, Plagg glancing towards a painting. "Her parents are never home. No letters, no calls, no curious messages on how she's doing. Lilith knows her place in her sister's home. Tell Luz what she needs to know, and do whatever she wants after. Gorilla is the only one who cares."

Tikki nervously scratched her cheek, "When you two switched miraculous, Chat sent me to care for Luz..And since she wasn't used to me, she..Kept alot hidden.."

Amity let out a small whimper like hum, scratching gently at the hem of her shirt. "W..Was it bad..?" Amity quietly asked.

Tikki and Plagg shared a glance, then looked up at Amity, "We don't think she should be left alone.." They said together.

"Not that she'd do anything drastic--" Plagg quickly said.

"But she would definitely go in to a spiral and cut everyone off." Tikki nervously smiled.

Amity rushed to the door, opening it and leaving the room, the door ajar. Tikki sighed, whizzing to the tray of assorted treats, "I kind of hope they find out soon.." Tikki mumbled.

"I don't. Amity might not be able to handle Chat being.." He sighed. "Let's just pretend we're on a date, I've missed you SugarCube."

Amity spent Luz's breaks hugging her and coddling the Latina, once the shoot was over, Luz broke down. She cried to Amity, spilling out the few words her parents ever said, the only love she ever received, and how her perfect picture was never perfect.

Luz was lucky that there was no akuma. Luz was lucky that Amity and Plagg were there. Luz was lucky, that she had people who genuinely loved her. "..I'm sorry.." Luz mumbled.

"For what?" Amity rubbed Luz's back, glancing down at her.

"I..I shouldn't be using you to vent my problems.." Luz pulled back a bit.

Amity pulled her down, massaging Luz's head, "I'm glad you are. Please don't keep this to yourself. Please don't think that I don't care. Please ask me for help." Amity held Luz close. "And take care of yourself when you need to."

Luz gripped Amity's shirt, sniffling and nuzzling into Amity's chest. "..Hicc-"

"It's okay..I'll be right here Luz.." Amity hushed. "I'll be right here.."

"Are you sure?" Amity stopped in her tracks, looking back.

Luz nodded, "I'll be fine."

Amity hesitated, "But-"

"You slept over awhile ago, I can't have your mom getting mad at me." Luz waved her off.

Amity pulled her phone out, calling her mom and putting it on speaker. "Yes?~" Odalia cooed.

"Luz is sad. Can I stay over?"

A pause, then a creak, Odalia's voice sounding quiet. "Sure, bring back a head of lettuce tommorow. And some chocolate."

"OkayThankYouILoveYouGoodNight-" Amity hung up, rushing back to Luz and hugging her.

"Oof-" Luz stumbled back a bit, holding on to Amity. "Sigh..I'll get you some clothes.."

"This feels wrong?" Luz tried to pull back.

Amity pulled her back down, "No no. I shall comfort you tonight." Amity pulled the blanket over, patting it down a bit before hugging Luz.

She slumped, sighing quietly and resting her head back on Amity's chest. "Mm..This is nice.." Luz hummed softly.

Amity looked to Plagg, the Kwami shutting off the lights and whizzing off. "Goodnight Luz, I'll be here if you need anything."
