Monday, after school, before Gouter time.

Gorilla was invited over for tea, and was asked to bring Luz along. "Gnn, hhrrm." Gorilla adjusted Luz's basket.

"I already paid off the mortgage.." Luz mumbled. "Don't you think they have enough to buy their own Leory Domaine wine?"

"Mmrrm."

Luz lowered her head, "You're right, sorry.."

Gorilla pat her head, knocking on the door again very lightly. "Sorry sorry!" Odalia opened the door, Ghost on her shoulder. "Had to stop her from eating Edric's rat-"

"He's a mouse, Mom." Edric came over, mouse in hand. "And I need to give him away.."

"Oh no, how come?" Luz tipped her head forward, offering Odalia the basket of wines and cheeses.

"Thank you! Come in come in!" Odalia took the basket, stepping back.

Gorilla and Luz entered, Edric allowing Luz to hold his mouse. "He's going to get eaten by Ghost, and well, I do kind of love Ghost more.."

The mouse spun around Luz's palm, rolling over and squeaking. "..I..I-I can take him!" Luz exclaimed, smiling brightly. "If you'll let me-"

"Yes! I named him King Jacques, but he doesn't answer to that so maybe something else?-" Edric waved Luz down. "Stay here- Let me bring you his cage-"

Luz gently scratched King Jacques's side, the mouse sighing and relaxing. "You want to keep that?" Plagg hissed. "You have me and Duusu!"

King Jacques perked, looking up, sniffing the air. He spun, jumping onto Luz's hoodie, scurrying about. He squeaked, relaxing in her hood, shuffling slightly. "Oh dear." Luz hummed. "He's already in bed."

Gorilla gently lifted Luz's hood, King Jacques squealing and scrambling onto her shoulder. "Mmeeek!"

His squeal echoed in the room, Luz perking up, "Echo."

The mouse jumped, looking up to Luz, pecking her cheek. She giggled, scratching his chest, the mouse lifting his head. "I hope you get lost." Plagg spat.

Echo turned, gazing at Plagg before snuggling up against Luz's neck. "Here's his cage, if you're going to change the bedding make sure you leave a few chips in there that smell like him so he doesn't get scared." Edric held out the large cage.

"Thank you! His new name is Echo." Luz walked over to the coffee table, setting the cage down.

"Oh? That soon?" Edric pinched down the lock, pulling the door open. "That's how it opens, you'll have to do the same to close it."

Echo scampered down Luz's arm, shuffling into his cage. "You better stay there." Plagg hissed softly.

The mouse turned to look at him, showing off his bosom before turning to his bed and lying down. "Luz!"

Flinching, the Latina looked around frantically, being tackled a second later. Falling onto the couch, she lightly hit her head on the wall. "Hi Amity." Luz smiled, rubbing her head. "Thanks for dropping in."

Amity snorted, pushing Luz's face back, Plagg yowling softly as he hit himself on the couch. Ghost mewed, hopping over, sniffing Echo's cage before going over to Luz, purring. "Go away! Stop trying to take Luz from me!" Plagg hissed.

Ghost yowled, patting roughly at Luz's hoodie, her claws getting stuck. She jumped up, bringing Luz to the side as pulling on the hood choked her. Amity yelped as she fell off the couch, Luz grabbing the flailing Ghost. Amity fumbled up, untangling her claws. Ghost was dropped, the kitten landing with a soft poof on the couch.
