Wednesday.

Chat Noire had started the searches. She marked the houses blue that she checked on her baton, adding little notes to them. Yellow marks if they were a bit suspicious, red if they rose some flags.

She had come home at a reasonable time, showering and changing before heading to bed. Wednesday, now, we go to Amity. "Do you think Dad scared her off?" Amity tied her hair up, looking to Tikki.

"They were best friends up until Chat said you were a bully. Your father holds a strong grudge!" Tikki giggled. "I'm sure she'll be back soon enough."

'KABOOM!' Tikki blinked, looking to Amity who growled into her sweater, pulling off her single pigtail and tying her hair up. "Sooner than we think.."

"FudgeFudgeFudgeFudge-" Chat Noire glanced back. "WOAH!!"

She jumped away from the weight, the akuma rose his barbell, stomping towards Chat, "You're supposed to be there for us!!"

"I was going to see my partner! And frankly- I care about them more than I do you guys!!" Chat yelped as her tail was grabbed, being pulled back. "WOAH-"

He growled as he held her up, swinging his barbell. Chat gripped it, unfortunately with her non cataclysmic hand, and held it away. But this thing was heavy. She winced, then held out her hand. "Take it."

The akuma dropped his barbell which shrunk to become a dumbbell. He grabbed her hand, and was kicked in the face. He stumbled back, holding his nose, "You-"

Ladybug landed on his shoulders, the akuma glancing up, "I'll squeeze til I hear a crack.." He uttered.

"I'll just kick your a$$ til I think you've had enough." Ladybug shrugged, clenching her fist and slamming it on his forehead.

He dropped Chat, growling and stumbling back. Chat Noire swiped her feet under him, reaching for his dumbbell while Ladybug beat the crap outta him. Yet, the dumbbell couldn't be picked up. She grumbled as she tried to pick it up, but it was too heavy. "Oh wait. Catac-"

The dumbbell rose, and went directly to Chat. The metal bar felt cold on her neck, the dumbbell pinning her to the brick wall. "Sh!t." Chat growled softly.

Ladybug leaned back on the akuma, calling out her lucky charm which was a vile. The akuma growled, looking to Chat, clenching his fist as he stumbled back. The dumbbell shrunk, the heroine gasping as it began to cut off her air. "CHAT!!" Ladybug yelled. "CHAT USE YOUR CATACLYSM!!"

She gripped the dumbbell, hissing softly as she tried to pull it away. She kicked at the wall, vision blurring. "C..ta..cl..sym.." She uttered, the dumbell pressing further as the small gap that formed as she talked allowed more open space.

. . .The dumbbell didn't crack. Nor did it wilt. It glew for a second before it turned grey and returned to being a barbell. But by then, Chat was already out. She slipped past the bar, falling limp against the hot roof. Ladybug twisted the akumas arm, kicking him off the roof, scrambling to Chat.

She picked her up quickly, fumbling with her yoyo, latching onto a roof a ways off. She tugged, taking off and recalling where an empty home lied dormant. She kicked the patio doors open, lying Chat down, ear against her chest. "Minou- You stupid cat come on--" Ladybug placed both hands over her chest, pushing down. "Tikki spots off--"

The kwami whizzed out, looking around quickly, assessing that this was not her house and looking down. "Amity-" Tikki covered her mouth.

The two looked to eachother for a second before Amity continued chest compressions, the light flow of tears turning to a waterfall. 'I should've said Ladybug- I should've said Ladybug--' Tikki whizzed down. 'Amity's going to panic even more- I can only say her name when no one is listening-- When no one can listen--'
