After a long time, Jennie snapped back to her senses. Her head suddenly felt heavy.

"Mr. Manoban... Hold on... I'm here because I need to discuss something with you," she said softly.

Lisa seemed to be deep in thought as he released her. "Is it about Sungjae and his team?"

Jennie shook her head. Why would she care about Sungjae's team?

"Mr. Manoban... It's about Moonbin," Jennie probed gingerly.

Lisa's eyes contained no trace of emotion when he heard her. He wasn't the least bit surprised by her.

"Brother L..."

Before Jennie could continue, Moonbin's voice interrupted them.

"Enter," replied Lisa quietly.

Moonbin and several other young men and women entered the study.

The group of men and women appeared slightly haughty and aloof as they strode in.

Jennie had never seen them before.

"Brother L, we are here."

The man who walked in first smiled at Lisa.

"Brother L, it has been some time," a woman said.

Lisa scanned their faces in silence.

"Brother L, Miss Rong asked us to come here. She is worried about you and she misses you. She even said that if you refuse to visit her, she will look for you soon," the man told Lisa.

Jennie knitted her eyebrows when she heard the man.

Miss Rong... Who was this person? Where was she from?

Demon had left her feeling confused and bewildered. Now, Miss Rong had entered the picture.

She gathered from these people's responses that Miss Rong seemed to be close to Lisa. They should have a special relationship.

"Hold on. Who is this, Brother L?"

A girl in red suddenly turned to Jennie, her eyes glinting coldly.

Why is this woman so intimate with Lisa? The girl in red thought to herself.

"Sister Xu Yao, she is Brother L's girlfriend," Moonbin said quietly after some time.

"Girl... Girlfriend?"

The girl, whose name was Xu Yao, was dumbfounded by Moonbin's answer.

Xu Yao's eyes met Jennie's.

Jennie could feel an obvious trace of contempt and mockery in her eyes.

"I see..."

Xu Yao didn't press on. She merely grinned and nodded.

Jennie frowned to herself. What was wrong with these people?

Other than the girl, every single person that had come in with Moonbin appeared to cast looks of contempt at her the moment they were informed that she was Lisa's girlfriend.

They weren't obvious but they showed it to Jennie.

Moonbin whipped out his phone and quietly sent Jennie a message. Then, he gave her a meaningful glance.

Jennie took out her phone to read the message.

Moonbin couldn't really explain much with everyone around.

'A Little Boy Who Loves Lollipops' had typed, 'Miss Kim, all these people are Miss Rong's confidants. Miss Rong grew up with Brother L so their bond goes way back. Besides, they have a complex relationship that's hard to explain. You don't have to be bothered by their responses or remarks.'
