“Ello, Poppet,” Sarah said happily as she got into the back seat, completely unaware of Luke.

“I’m taking your mood as being positive?” I asked warily.

“You’re not in any papers! Congrats!” She cheered high fiving me.

She leaned forward and changed the radio before she slowly tilted her head to the side and screamed.

“Who the fuck are you?!” She shouted holding a hand to her heart, “Elle? What the hell!”

“Sarah relax, this is Luke, he’s one of the guards.”

“And her friend for life,” Luke added with a cheesy smile on his face. “Nice to meet you,” He said, grabbing her hand from her heart and shaking it nonchalantly.

“I’m so confused and freaked out right now…”

I laughed and began explaining to her about how I knew Luke and bought her up to date on what he knew about the whole Elle/Elise situation.

“Elle, can I talk to you in private?” Sarah asked still eying Luke.

“Kind of hard when I’m driving, Sarah…”

“Well go to my house or something then.” She snapped.

I glanced at her through the rearview mirror and noticed she was biting her nails. I frowned.

During the time I had known Sarah she was obsessed with her hands. She had done a few jobs as a hand model and until recently she would never even go outside without gloves to protect her hands and nails. The fact that she was biting her nails was weird beyond explanation. Not only did she find the habit incredibly disgusting, but she would go OCD on how her nails looked.

I made a quick decision to pull the car over and parks on the side of the highway. Numerous cars honked their horn and cursed in irritation as I got of the car and told Sarah to get out with me.

Luke eyed the both of us in confusion before he shrugged and changed the radio station back.

I closed the car door behind me and walked a few feet away from the car and waited for Sarah to slowly walk towards me.
