I argued…believe me I did. I really did not want to see Walter.

I couldn’t explain it. I wanted to see Walter> I guess you could say that I missed Walter. It’s just that I didn’t know why.

I had only known Walter for a few months and that was because we were forced together. Not to mention the fact that at one point I thought he was my kidnapper and was about to kill me.

Maybe it was because in a way he sort of saved me? He did end up getting stabbed I guess but it was because of him that I wasn’t with that psycho Amberley- however twisted that may be…

My mind was being consumed by all these thoughts. Did I like him? Was I just desperate? Was it because I owed him? Or was it just because I felt obliged to? Whatever the reason I couldn’t deny that I wanted to see Walter, I had wanted to since he was first pulled out my paramedics.

Now I was being dragged to Sarah’s car. She had called up basically every hospital in the city asking if a man by the name of Walter had been admitted. It was especially difficult considering I couldn’t remember what the press had written as his last name in the various articles I had read.

“Shouldn’t we at least walk, Sarah? That way we could walk, Bubba.” I said.

“Babe, it’s like a 3 hour walk away…” She said slowly with wide eyes, “I don’t think so.”

“Well how’s about we don’t go?” I said.

“Elle! We went over this, we’re going no matter what you say.”

I sighed and opened the passenger seat to her BMW M3 waiting for her to climb in the other side.

She set up her GPS before starting the engine smoothly and pulling the car out of her driveway, following the directions on her GPS. I looked out the window as we drove into the highway, zooming past cars in a rush to reach the hospital before visiting hours ended.
