Loki couldn't feel, couldn't hear, couldn't see.

His body was just falling endlessly, his hands letting go of the hand of his flower as her fingers slipped from his. He heard someone screaming for him, his own voice lost in the abyss as sudden lights rushed past him and blinded him. Everything all just stopped for a moment when Loki closed his eyes, a grunt of pain escaping his lips. He laid on his back, letting out a soul-crushing sigh before opening his eyes again while reaching out for his flower. There was a hit of panic as Loki quickly sat up, swivelling his head around to look for (y/n).

"(y/n)!? (y/n)!" Loki yelled out, standing up but all he was met was the darkness of the night sky with the stars being his only source of light. Loki had to find her, had to make sure she was ok. He promised her he had her, that he would keep her safe. He swore to his mother and he swore to (y/n).

He wasn't going to break his promise.

Is what he kept telling himself as Loki gasped awake when he fell to the floor, his powers diminishing from the spell he was conjuring while he was trying to go through his memories. It has been months since Loki started searching for (y/n), months since he tried to locate her by retracing his steps but it was getting difficult as he felt his mind slip away from his control day by day.

Loki runs his hands down his face, feeling the ship he was on stop for a moment and he knew that they had arrived at their destination.

And by they, he meant the Mad Titan Thanos.

Loki stood up, putting up his calm facade and signature smirk before walking out of his cell-like room. He had kept up this facade the moment Thanos found him wandering on the wasteland of a planet, sharing his anger and determination for vengeance as a source of commonality to be on the titan's good side but for a price. He was to find the Mind Stone for the Thanos and in return, the mad titan would help Loki locate (y/n).

That was the deal and the God of Mischief never breaks his deals unless it doesn't benefit him.

The entrance of the ship opens up, Loki being informed that this planet of rogues and merchants would be where he would find the Mind Stone. In the back of his mind, he was also hoping to find (y/n). Loki was secretly paying off hired informants for any news about (y/n), for any clues of where she could be.

He easily slipped into the crowd, albeit it was obvious he was not from around this planet with his clean-cut appearance compared to the rugged and dirty looks of the other people. Loki walked around, his head a foot higher above many people which gave him an advantageous viewpoint of the area around him.

It was bustling with people, filled with stalls and merchants, filled with various forms of creatures and planetary races. Loki was slightly disgusted by the disgruntled creatures that drank and did planetary drugs, doing dangerous dealings or even murdering each other rout of spite. This planet was truly a no man's land for rogues who didn't care about rules.

The burning suns, yes suns, was beating down on the planet, the humidity being unbearable for some people but Loki was unfazed as he strolled through the crowd making sure to keep an eye out for a certain stone.

"Watch where you're going." Loki hissed sharply as a bunch of creatures bumped into him like they were in a rush for something.

"Forget him, we're late!"

"The fight is starting!" the creatures simply ignored Loki and even though he was pissed, he was intrigued about what was so much more interesting than these lowlives ignoring him and not apologising.
