It was another beautiful morning in Asgard, the city and the palace once again built high as the glorified realm of the gods. Loki once again had to act as Odin as he sat at the head of the table where his mother and his brother were having breakfast and conversing. He was waiting anxiously for his flower, listening for her patter of feet and the familiar floral scent that eased his heart. He had to hide the smile on his face when she finally walked in, dressed in the most beautiful of coloured fabrics as her hair flowed over her shoulders. She was comfortable to be present as herself and not hidden away behind her mask or her bandages.
It was obvious that she had just awoken, her yawning while trying to fix the frizz in her hair which amused Loki. He looked to the maid and she instantly went to serve (y/n), placing down the platter before her. The god watched her smile as she picked up the green rose first, the one thing that immediately caught her eye. (y/n) looked up briefly, making sure no one took notice of her as she smiled at Loki.
He felt something warm inside of himself, suddenly sitting up when his mother looks at his love. "That is a beautiful flower." She comments and Thor agrees. No one knew of Loki's promise to (y/n), not knowing that he was the one sending her flowers every day when he couldn't be with her. No one even thought to bring up the mystery behind a random flower appearing every day only for (y/n) when the maids were ordered to deliver her meals. (y/n) nods at Frigga's statement, smelling the sweet fragrance of the flower before looking up at Loki once more.
"It is."

Here comes another one...
Loki grumbles in his head, his tolerance and annoyance rising every second when another civilian comes to his throne room and ask him for help on whatever they needed help with. This was the usual daily occurrence with other tasks like useless meetings, stacks of paperwork and the usual kiss asses that tried to weasel more than they deserved. Loki knew that this is what the outcome would be when taking over as ruler but these people were on his nerve.
She can simply divide her land equally to grow crops.
Loki sighs out through his nose, his eyes glowing a faint green as he put that suggestion in the woman head. He was doing this every now and then to an easily fixable issue where people simply didn't bother using their head. Loki looked over the heads of the Asgardian civilians, hoping to see a certain woman that could calm his growing annoyance. He missed (y/n), wondering where she was on days like this. She would normally join him in the throne room, hidden away and leaning on a pillar to keep Loki entertained but she was not here.
The god of mischief created an illusion of Odin, dropping the disguise on his body before walking away from the hoard of people. He was on the move to look for his flower, heading to her bedroom which was unfortunately empty before going to his room which again was empty.
"Where is she?" Loki mutters out, heading to one more place where he thought he would find (y/n). The library. As soon as he was close to the doors, he could hear a faint humming that became clearer when he opens the doors quietly and shuts it closed behind him. The god slithered through like a snake, making sure to make not a peep of sound when he sees his flower reading quietly on a couch with her back to him against the couch arm. He smirks, walking towards the girl that stopped humming, hearing the gently flips of paper.
