"You might want to want to hold onto something!" Thor warns as he tries to control the partially damaged aircraft, everyone quickly grabbing onto the edge to steady themselves. The god of thunder unceremoniously drops the aircraft onto the sandy ground, picking it up as a cloud of dust around everyone.

(y/n) was kind of glad to have her mask, the item shielding her face from the sand that floated around with the cold breeze on this dead planet. She and the others jump off the aircraft, her securing her mask on despite Loki's disapproval. The gods and the Midgardian trek up the steep sandy dunes, Loki helping his love as they followed Thor and Jane. Once they reached the top, they lowered to hide behind the dunes, looking over the expanse of the planet to see the dark elves ship in the far distance with Malekith and his soldiers heading straight towards them.

"What's the plan now? He can sense whatever is inside Jane so a surprise attack is out of the question." (y/n) huffs out, realising that the brothers didn't have a legitimate plan of action here besides getting the Aether out of Jane and have it destroyed.

"We have a plan." Loki says as he stands up, nodding to his brother who stands with him while the girls hid from view. "But you know this plan of yours is going to get us killed."

"Yeah, possibly." (y/n) raises a brow at the brothers' interaction, worried about exactly what kind of plan they had concocted that might get them killed. The younger brother raises his shackled arms to his sibling, Thor giving Loki an unsure look.

"You still don't trust me, brother?"

"Would you?" the god of thunder raises a brow at his brother, hesitantly taking the cuffs off.

Loki sighs happily, rubbing his wrists as he looked at the dark elves in the distance before turning to (y/n). She gave him a confused look as he suddenly pulls her close, brushing his thumb against her cheek sweetly. He wanted to hold his love one last time before they went into battle, just in case... just in case he didn't...

Loki presses his lips against (y/n)'s soft ones, kissing her so gently as he held her cheeks. It was quick but he hoped that she could feel what he was trying to tell her before he took a step back from her and summons his hidden dagger.

"No, I wouldn't." Loki says and (y/n) gasps when he stabs his brother and throws him down the hill.

"Loki! Wait!" he jumps down after Thor's body that tumbles down the hill, him ignoring (y/n)'s yells as she stumbles down the steep cliff and struggles to not start rolling herself. "What are you doing!?" Loki stalks towards his brother before kicking him in the stomach.

This has to be the plan right!?

This is a trick right!?

Loki shakes his flowers words away from his mind, focused on fooling the dark elves. "Loki please!" He could hear (y/n) yelling out to him as she ran across the deserted lands as fast as she could, Thor raising his arm and attempting to summon his hammer when the god of mischief cuts off his hand.

"Thor!" Jane cried out as she kneels by his side, him screaming out in agony from his severed hand.

"What are you doing!?" (y/n) exclaims as Loki suddenly picks Jane up, heading straight for Malekith as the Midgardian struggled in his arms. "Let her go Loki!" he quickly turns back to face his love, shaking his head slightly and she realises all of this was an act. It wasn't real.
