A week had passed since Artemis's panic attack. The thick tension between her and the twins is evident. She's been avoiding them as much as she can. Always locked away in her room, hiding in the gaming room, with her nose inside book pages.

But, no matter what she does, she can't get them out of her mind. Invading her thoughts, dreams; no matter how hard she tries. She can't get them out of her mind.

She consumed days and nights fantasizing about what would happen. Mostly sexual thoughts.

Admitting to herself, she's afraid. It's has been a long time since she was sexually active. Even with her ex, everything was dull and pointless. This amount of sexual desire, to those she doesn't even know; scare the crap out of her.

The animal inside of her is frightened but curious at the same time. Not knowing how to handle it, Nyx has been harassing Artemis.

Believing it was the right time; she and her sister had begun their plan. They plan to reveal themselves to their human. Nyx has been communicating with Sky as well. Sky is happy to finally be able to run with Nyx. Wagging her tail happily, she suddenly feels sad. What if Artemis won't accept Nyx?

Nyx tried in the past, but Artemis denied her. Sensing her wolf's sadness, Elli becomes alert. "Are you ok Sky?"

"Yeah, I'm ok. Just a little down," Sky replied. Wishing she has her mother with her, Sky shuts Elli down. Sighing, Elli turns back to her lunch.

Elli had noticed her best friend's behaviour the past week. Looking at Artemis from her side of the table, she observes her.

Today, Elli has to go back with the twins again, as Wednesdays are her therapy sessions days.

The bell rings, and the squad parts ways.

The twins are yet again at a loss for words. Since last week, Artemis has been avoiding them. Making them more restless than ever.

They don't know what is happening; all they know they want to do is to hold Artemis and never let go. This is what scares them the most. They are not virgins by any means, but they never had feelings or an urge to protect someone else, like Artemis.

They want to fall for their mate first. They don't want to develop feelings for anyone else and break their mate's heart. They knew from a very young age they will share a mate.

Just like they shifted before anyone else. The human body needs to mature a little, before being able to go through the first shift. The usual age for the first shift is between 8 to 10. Even for leto wolves, they shifted young; they shifted at the mere age of 5.

Entering their class, they take their seat. Their wolves pace in their mind, feelings something dark is.

They jump when they feel a connection break from their pack. Knowing what it means, they rush out of class. Their pack is in the middle of moving to a new location. Which makes them vulnerable.

"I'm right behind you Alphas." Elli's voice floats in their pack link. Being the beta's daughter is only natural she knows how to fight. Duo to her family history, Elli chose to keep her wolf hidden. She's a formidable warrior. She can take down a feral rouge in her human form.

The other members from the pack who attended the university all rush to their car. Driving over the limited car speed, they didn't care. The only thing in their mind is the pack, their families. Most of the pack is still in Notting Hill; only a few moved to the new location.

Ellis' dad is in the new location, while the alphas' family is on her way with most of the pack. They arrive to the packhouse, only to discover horror. The few warriors and the beta are fighting against at least 50 rouges. All around women and men try to protect their young children.

Seeing red, they all run to help.

Elli runs after a rouge trying to kill a mother protecting her child. Having the element of surprise, she kicks his leg from behind. She goes in front of him and bashes his head with her knee. She flashes her claws and slashes his throat out.

"Take the kids inside, NOW!" Elli's voice booms through the pack link.

She makes sure the road inside is safe and rushes the kids in.

From her side view, she sees her dad fighting two rouges. A third comes out of nowhere, aiming for Gray's neck. Elli runs to her dad, but she's too slow. Suddenly Victoria jumps on the rouge, killing it quickly.

"Thank you, alpha!" Elli says relieved and rushes to her dad's side. Victoria nods and returns to her brother.

Dean was fighting three rouges; they are fighting with all their strength. Seems like they are the leaders of this attack. Shoving the two wolves, Dean draws his claws and strikes the one running towards him. His claws sliced the rouge's chest, making the rouge stumble back.

Surprisingly, the rouge heals quickly and shifts to his wolf. Not wasting any time, Victoria jumps and land on his back. She takes out her knife laced with wolfsbane and stabs the rouge.

Back to back, the twins work together. Yet more and more rouges appear. Elli notices it too and kills the rouge in front of her.

"Cars are approaching!" Sky warns Elli. The rest of the pack! "No! Shit! This is not good." Quickly, she mind-link her alpha.

"Alpha Lydia! We are under attack! TAKE THE CHILDREN AND ANYONE WHO CAN'T FIGHT AWAY FROM HERE! SEND THE WARRIORS!" Elli warns her alpha, with fear laced in her voice.

They already lost two lives; she doesn't want anyone else to die. The warriors flung out of the cars to assist in the fight.

Far away from the fight, Artemis is getting ready to leave class as she notices the message. Instantly, worry overcomes her.
