Elli shifts back and Artemis does not know how to react.

She is astonished by this revelation. If she is being honest with herself, she's overwhelmed. The day has brought many surprises. She glances to her side, looking out the window. The sun is dimmed a little, to which Artemis concluded, it is the afternoon.

The door of the room is open; Gray and the doctor enters. This grabs everyone's attention. "She needs a checkup and some rest. Please leave us alone." The doctor says with a professional tone.

Victoria and Dean are a bit hesitant to leave her, but they leave, nonetheless. Elli gets up to leave as well, but Artemis stops her. Artemis does not know the doctor and she is afraid. Elli, understanding the situation, sit back again and face the doctor as her father leaves.

"Well, my name is Richard; I'm the pack doctor. I need to do a check-up to make sure everything is ok. Do I have your permission?" He looks at Artemis, who nodded her head. He comes close, and Artemis clutch Elli's hand.

After a few minutes of asking questions and checking her head, he backs away. "Your body has healed completely, I'm going to remove the bandits. Your body is weak from the lack of movement, so it might take a few hours to be able to walk fast." Artemis nods her head as he goes to his bag on the table. He takes out scissors and a cotton ball.

He walks back and sits on the chair next to her bed. "I'm going to cut the bandit now." He warns her. He knows better than anyone how it's important to say the next step. Werewolves are highly territorial and protective of themselves and their pack. Artemis is quite surprised by how well he handles it. In the past doctors just did what they wanted to her without warning.

Her grip on Elli's hand drops, as she feels safe with the doctor. Elli lets out a small smile. The doctor finishes and dumps the bandit and the cotton ball in the trash. "You need food and rest. I suggest something light to not upset your stomach and sleep."

"I will make sure she does, thank you, doctor," Elli says and shakes his hand. Artemis sigh relieved to have a break from all the new information. The doctor leaves and Elli turns to Artemis. "Hey, umm, can you help me stand up? I need to use the toilet." Artemis's cheeks turn red from embarrassment. Elli stands up and lifts her to her legs. Elli let her lean on her for support.

Elli links one of the omega to bring food while Artemis is in the toilet. She waits for Artemis to come out.

Once she's done, Artemis stands up with difficulty, her legs are weak from the 4 days she didn't walk. Elli helps her walk back to bed as there isn't something else she can lean on.

Artemis continues to stare out the window. Processing all the new information, she learned today. She still has many questions. Mix feelings about it. How did werewolves come to be? Are there any other mythological creatures that exist? How is she so calm about it?

She decided to ask Elli, after a few minutes of fighting with herself about it. Just as she opens her mouth, someone knocks on the door. "Oh good, your food is here." Elli walks to the door and lets the omega enter with the tray of food.

"Thank you, Marry have a nice evening!" Elli smiles at her, and Artemis says her thanks as well. Elli puts the tray on the table next to the bed. "So, the rice and chicken soup are for you, just like the doctor recommended." Artemis takes the food happily. Taking the first bite, she moans. "It's been so long since the last time I ate, this is really good!" Elli laughs at her best friend, and Artemis has a goofy smile on her face.

After a few minutes of silent eating, Artemis decides to ask the questions that have been nagging her for the past 10 minutes. "Hey, Elli, are they any more myths that exist?" Elli stops eating and looks at her. "Are you sure you are up for it?" She asks carefully. Her face wears a frown and her eyes hold uncertainty.

"Yes." Artemis answers after considering it. "Very well, yes, there are. Besides werewolves, witches, vampires, sirens, nymphs and banshees exist." Artemis looks at her shocked, so shocked, she stopped eating. She didn't imagine there would be so many.

"Wow, so many!" Artemis says while her eyes are wide and her face wears a shocked look. Elli chuckles at her. she remembers her dad telling her about the supernatural world.

"How do you...I suppose we, exist, how were we made?" Artemis asks, wanting and desiring to know more. Elli smiles at her enthusiasm and tells the origin of her kind.

"According to the scriptures, there are two gods who created us. The moon goddess Selena, and sun god Sol. Selena created us, sirens, and banshees. The legend says one evening our goddess walked in her garden when she heard the howl of a wolf. She looked from her garden above and saw a wolf stuck on a tree underneath a cliff. The tree was about to fall; the goddess felt sorry for the wolf. So, she turned him into a human; so he could save himself. He climbed the cliff and was saved." Artemis is fascinated by the story, she listens to every word Elli says.

"The wolf, Kiaro, felt deep gratitude for the goddess's help. He praised and blessed her every day. But he felt sad, he was not used to his new body, and he missed his pack. The goddess saw this and decided to let him have the option to shift from human to wolf as he wishes." Artemis smiles as she hears about the goddess's kindness.

"As time went by, he got used to both of his sides. After a while, he met a woman, and they fell in love. His kids inherent the wolf side as well, but unlike their father, they had no connection to their wolf side. Seeing this, the goddess assigned lost souls with the wolf side, and that's how we were created."
