He slowly looked back up at Esteban and wiped away the tears.

He didn't know where he gathered the courage to say those words but he was quite proud of himself. He looked at his best friend or former best friend once again and then walked away.
His feet carried him to his teammates driver room. Sadly Checo wasn't there so he had to sit down onto the couch to wait for the Mexican.
He laid down und stuffed Sergio's jackett under hus head to use it as a pillow. As time was slowly going by, he couldn't keep his eyes open anymore and fell asleep.

He was woken up by some little hand hugging his waist. He opened his eyes and saw Carola and Sergio chatting in the doorway while their children were next to him. So cute.

'Woken up, sleeping beauty?'
Sergio smiled at him and Carola giggled.
'Yeah, sorry for falling asleep here. I was waiting for you and got really tired'
'Do I look like a care? You can sleep here whenever you want to, precious'

Lance blushed at the cute nicknames. Was Carola okay with this?

'I'm gonna leave now if that okay for the both of you. I'll come to take the kids tomorrow.'
The woman walked to her children, gave them quick kisses and then turned to Lance.

'You don't have to worry about me, cutie. He's all yours'
She whispered the words into his ear and also gave him a little kiss on the cheek, making Lance feel totally accepted in the family.

Two month after this and slowly falling in love, Checo asked Lance to be his boyfriend.
Lance got fully accepted in Checo's family and the children were really happy when Lance moved in with their father

1 and a half year later, Lance was ready to trust his boyfriend to have sex after a long time.

Another 2 years later, after retireing Sergio bought a beautiful ring with Carola's help and asked Lance to marry him.
The answer was a big yes with tears.
The whole grid was very happy for the two.

Another year later they got married and danced till 4 in the morning.

After 4 years of being married Lance and Sergio decided to ask Carola for help to have a baby. Carola gladly helped them and gave birth to a beautiful, healty baby girl called Jacinta Strulovich - Pérez just 11 month after planing on the 18th of June.

Another year later they moved into a big house and got a Golden Retriever they named Ana.

Lance also retired the year after his 35th birthday. Jacinta was already 5 then.

After Jacinta's 18th birthday, the two men moved into a smaller house in Canada.

After many, many years Segio passed away at the age of 79 and soon his husband Lance followed his after 2 years of being lonely.

Jacinta, the last bearer of both names got into motorsport after taking carting lessons at the age of 5.

She was one of the few woman to drive an F1 car and the first woman to get 3 championship.
She gave birth to 3 boys.
