Chapter 32

Rhys's POV

Orizon?
That's what the female intruder was called?

Wonder what other abilities she had and why was she after Beast?.... Did Beast done unspeakable crimes that offend her? Also , why are we even involved in this?

I let out a breath of questioning as I flipped around the book that Beast used earlier to toss onto Ava's head. It didn't took long when I find a sketch of the entire place we're located in.

Map of Caucasus it says.... Caucasus was what the place was named as? It was like an abandoned castle , judging by the vines and roots stuck on the walls. But... I thought we're above sky level...  But this picture was more of a floating island like Daemos....

I turned to the next page to find a.... what was even this? It's a creature but with 2 large flippers , a tail and a seemingly huge mouth. It has white patches and grey skin and in addition of some patches of seemingly plants and.... was that a mansion I'm seeing on his back?

It was stated that it was a transport for long journeys , from island to island. Then , we're on this... creature now , going to Caucasus. Is that the point I'm getting here? And am I the one who was actually reading this than being loud in that room earlier?

After returned to our own chamber , I sat on bed as I have my hands flipping around the pages of this instruction contained book until I overheard a whistle sound echoing outside of the library. I stood from my bed and walked to the window. I had my head looked out from the window , with the breeze blew into my face as the calls echoed in my ears.

I looked up to find a taller building upon my head as I decided to carefully climb up the rooftop to take a look at this creature who created this amazing sound. Climbing my way up from roof to roof , I climbed to quite a high ground as I was amazed by what I was watching.

A grey skinned creature was what we're flying on as huge orange patches was found on its body. White outlined spirits were floating in mid air , seemingly attempting to catch up the creature. Yet , this creature seemed to be travelling in high speed. I smiled by the cooling breeze that was calming my mind down from everything that happened within this one day.

Suddenly , a strong scent came into my nose as I took a sniff with it. 
That smell... It was just...familiar... Like I have sniffed it before somewhere... sometime.... with someone.....

Before I could sniff and think about it , a black object formed upon my eyes. It appears to be some sort of land with a high tower like... Wait was that... whatever hits in my head? Before I could move forward for closer observation , a platform formed underneath my foot before I was brought back to the Beast's room. 

"Rhys! Where the hell you have been?!"
"Apologies your majesty. I was distracted by whatever was written in the book of knowledge and information."
I stated as Leif cackled.

"Yeah , like we have anything to do for the sake of the unknown gibberish language written by the Beast."
"What was in the book , Rhys?"
Pierce asked in a soft tone. Probably the loudest for me to hear him.

"O-Oh , it was about this floating island named Caucasus. And the transport we're riding which was a spirit. Kind of the reason for my late appearance to get here."
"*Growl*"
I jumped by the growl for a while as I find Beast next to me with her hand grabbing the book away from my grasp.

"H-Hey! I have not finished that yet!"
She turned to me with the red pupil piercing through my eyes. I gulped a bit , was reminded with the rule of not being noisy , as I turned into submission , questioning in a soft tone , "M-May I have the book back if you finished using it?"
