Chapter 53

Rhys's POV

What...?
I was... alive under the Sir Frost's absence? That means , Sir Frost was within me. I'm part of him at the mean time.

Was this why I kept on getting weird messages and visions? They're all memories that were rightfully belonged to Sir Frost?

"Was it why Rhys didn't fall when our magic were running out? He had-"
"He had the Great Gold Blood within his body. His body was strong enough to maintain stability from the magic crisis."
Orizon cuts off Asch's sentence as another picture was shown to us. It was Ocellus stood in front of a row of men with her hand holding none other but the Skull of The Blood God. Her expression was fierce enough to kill someone by a single glare.

"What... what happened?"
"The judgement. The judgement for Ocellus as Father told the High Council that she killed Sir Frost, even using his soul for injustice purposes. She can't do much but to mark their words , await to set revenge on the King himself."

"She then officially became Beast as she destroyed the court , leaving and hiding herself in her secret room in her castle. People accused her as a killer as some servants were injured by the strong breeze."

Not to mention , harming innocent muses and vandalizing precious ruins!

Does where that sentence from those creatures back that day come from? It was somehow true though.

"Was it how the two titles of hers to be...?"
"Yeah , gone. They thought it was for the greater good. That's when she was called as Beast , as she was a god and royal with no title."
That's how it come from? How interesting. But still can't believe how she go through all of this....

"Yet she still carry all of that responsibility. As a goddess for your kingdom and also for the animals. To ensure there's no innocent creatures harmed by him once more , my sister used magic to set up a shield , just to protect the last of those creatures she cared about."
She was talking about the Gruffs , wasn't she? They're quite the only creatures I have seen for the majority of the number.

"But she was.... quite the person to look for new discoveries."
Orizon said as a picture was shown to us. It was her falling down with her hand reached over a layer of the cloud. The hand was appeared to be the same as hers. Wonder what was even unique about this....

"She discovered a world , a world she knew you guys will come here as she knew her own condition."
"It's Earth , wasn't it?..."
Ava said out loud as Orizon nodded her head.

"Therefore , to be part of them , she left The Skies Kingdom and descended to Earth to become a human. A human being who would fight for freedom and from the cruelty of society. She became ,"

Orizon said as pictures shown , especially a family picture. I widened my eyes as I fell on the ground even felt my vision turned pure darkness for one second.

"Oscar Langford."

Asch's POV

Oscar?
As in the Oscar I know and missed? My friend? She was...
It was such a complicated thing to to be processed of.

"I-It , but how?! It told us that Oscar was dead! Under a rock from the ear-thquakes!"
"Gods have different abilities. My sister , by luck, has my mother's powers being passed down to her. She can therefore , created illusions that can be seen by the human , or demon eye."
"So , it was just an illusion , of Oscar's death?"
Orizon smiled and nodded.

"So , the scene with the animals surrounding her ,"
Pierce mentioned as it was even clear with that time. Oscar was Ocellus , and Ocellus's the Goddess of Animals. That makes a lot more sense now.

"I already told her to act calm with her abilities. Even if her goddess title was taken away , this doesn't let the aura of animals to stop being unleashed. That aura can cause what you guys saw , an animal magnet was what happened."
Orizon said with an awkward smile.

"But I don't care the majority parts , now , I wanted you to show me the scene of the Ear-thquake. I wanted to see how she-"
"I believe you might want to repeat the sentence , in a polite and gentle tone. Not to mention , you're talking to a goddess after all?"
I felt threatened as Casey had his swords pointed out to my neck. I sighed as I spoke out , "Can you PLEASE show me how Ocellus survived from the ear-thquake?"

"Gladly!~"
Orizon said as she raised her hand , sending a green magic ball charged upwards as the room was shown in another world. It was a complete mess and soot with dust were found polluting the air. The buildings were all collapsed to the ground.

"What the..."
"Was this where Oscar dealing with? This is such a mess."
I muttered our as a familiar voice called out.

"Get the victims out!"
I turned my head to find Oscar ran across me as if she didn't see me. Of course , it was just an illusion of the scene after all. Her face was dirtied by dirt and dust , small scars and bruises were found on her arm.

After she turned her head , looking around to ensure there's no humans , she walked under a rock. With her hand raised high up , the rock was moved away as something glowing was found underneath. She went under the rock , picking it up as she muttered , "The piece of the threat to his life. His magic... I finally found it.."

His magic?
As in.... who's?

Before I could questioned anything , the ground begun to shake as I almost lost my balance. I turned to Oscar who's eyes became much more determined as she pulled out the familiar mask from her pocket , putting it upon her face as the rock dropped on top of her. Shocked by the scenario , but was much more surprised when a red object stabbed across the rock , with Beast stepped out of the rock , then charging towards the two humans.

This is where the scene ends as we're back to the Memory Lane. At least , with peace , no more screams of pain and agony.

Pierce's POV

"That was nuts."
Ava said out loud.

"Can't help it , she's a big fan with adventure , especially when it was about putting your life on deathbed." Orizon said with a smile.

"She was alive... that was one thing that I can be relieved."
Rhys spoke out as his mind with the shame of Oscar's death was finally dropped down. A thought soon came in as it reminded me of something.

"May you find what you seek. The truth needed some scars to slice on."

"For I have found the saviour of the high lands! She shall save the death from demons , the light from the dark! May creatures and critters speak for me!"

"The old man back in the streets..."
"What was it now Pierce?"
Leif questioned me.

"Bacm on Ear-th,  there's this old man , quite like a peasant , he claimed that Oscar was a saviour of the high lands , save the death from demons , the light from the dark. He even mentioned about the creatures and critters who will speak for him."
"This old man....," I turned to Benedict who was talking with his necklace , "Does he have star shaped scar by his face?.."

I nodded as respond as he quickly turned to Orizon , then he turned back to me and questioned what happened to him , I responded with the old man being taken away by two blue outfit dressed humans.

"N-No , the last member of-"
Orizon stuttered out as tears glided down from her eyes.

"The last member of what?"
"The...last member of the High Council. My father.... The God of Prediction... Sir Bruno...."
Benedict who was remained silent have his hand smashed on the wall , even causing himself to bleed.

"Benedict! Your hand!-"
"How DARE he... Ugh!"
Benedict said out loud , even causing his voice to glitch slightly. He gone frustrated , the ground even shimmers.

"Geez , Ben , calm down. The ground was shaking because of you!"
"I-It was not me!"
Benedict claimed as Orizon shouted.

"The fight! It started!"
