Chapter 33

Leif's POV

"Wow! This was amazing to be seen!"
I shouted in amazed by the setup in the castle. Although it was sounded boring and very much historical-ish , at least it was more according to whatever Rhys describes , but it was splendid on inside!

It was much more advance than how us Daemos design for Asch's castle. As we entered the red carpet covered marble ground , we're greeted with some lifeless statue of knights stood on wooden platform with polished iron armour dressed , holding different types of weapons , in a position of battle. With white curtains covering the sunlight entered window , dark red banners was found between two huge windows. The banners were designed with a beast skull between two crossed over spears. The colour of the banner was from dark red on the top to light red to the bottom.

The castle , out of my surprise , doesn't have a throne room. How in the world could this even happen? The person who built this castle must have not been the best of all builder. Or perhaps Beast just kidnapped a random builder and force him to build this out. But it was just as splendid as a castle. At least there was one thing that I can compliment whoever build this out.

"This was odd..."
I turned to Ava who spoke out of the blue.
"This a lot floors looking building , doesn't have any stairs.... How are we even meant to get upstairs?"
As I wondered the same , a growl caught all of our attention as Beast showed us a seemingly small room , seemingly telling us to enter.

The moment I entered , I felt a extremely weird sensation under my feet. I looked down to find the floor was a layer of soft pale golden colour. I find it very interesting that it can handle the weight of legit 7 people.

"What's with the dragging , Beast?"
She remained silent as she pressed several buttons that was attached to the wall. Suddenly , a semi-permeable wall sealed the door with the ceiling above us opened to revealed some more similar floors and the same dark green semi-permeable layer.

"What was this all about?"
Asch asked as Beast ignored , bending down her knees as she suddenly launched herself high up in the air , passing through the semi-permeable layers. She gave her body a twist as she threw her cloth towards us , wrapping our wrists and waists before pulling hard upwards , bringing up to the air as well.

We soon landed on a certain platform where led us to seemingly the third floor while Noi legit had his body landed on the ground , while whimpering in pain. I simply rolled my teal eyes and pulled the salmon haired colour Daemos up from the ground.

We're then led down a corridor with chambers , where the doors were faced towards a huge sized window. Each chamber was sealed shut by a dark brown door with a certain colour banner next to the door.

There's a dark blue , rose red , pastel orange , dark seaweed green and dark purple.

On the dark blue banner , was a sword with a skull stabbed across along with some green fresh vines that have leaves and blue roses grew on. The rose red banner has a demon in black with white eye sockets and a laid over horizontal ring with jewels attached to. The pastel orange has a pair of daggers crossed over , with a orange rose in between as white cloths was found sewed laying lazily on the ground. The cactus green one was found to have a pair of crossed over sickles and lastly a purple staff was found drawn on the dark purple banner , with some amethyst shards and a certain blue flower which I can't tell.

"Man , those banners really represented us!"
"Yes."
Pierce quietly agreed as he looked at his banner.

"But , wonder what was the white ribbon like cloth doing around in my banner though?"
Noi asked as I do realised , out of whatever Noi has trained to be as Asch's knight , he doesn't seemed to have any necessary contact with something white and long like ribbons.
