Noi's POV

During breakfast , I kept turning my head to Ocellus who was only reading a book in hand , as it only let me constantly remind of the conversation with Ava yesterday.

"You're telling me now , that Ocellus despise one of us so much?"

"H-Hey , don't send me killer vibes here! That's what she told me. I also asked her about the fact if you guys will be alive , even without her provide of magic. She said , you guys will , but gotta survive as a human."

"But , why did she hate one of us? And who was it?"

Rhys suddenly said as the 5 of us looked at each other , before we begun pointing at each other , claiming each other to be hated by her goddess.

But majority and the sake of unity , they pointed at me , except Rhys and Pierce of course , since they never wanted to be in this chaotic mess. I believe Leif was just joking around , but Asch? His words were sometime fake , only to let out his anger on someone he randomly sees ; yet it was sometimes true.

What if I was really the one who she hated?
What was even the purpose of her giving me powers when she was recognized as Beast?

Was it all just a game?

"Noi!"
I jumped by the sudden scream of Ocellus as I turned my attention to her.

"Training room after your breakfast. Benedict will show you the direction later."
Ocellus signaled the silent knight as Benedict nodded , followed by Ocellus leaving the dining room , with me staring at the remaining in my bowl.

"Noi? You good there , buddy?"
I ignored Ava's questioning as I excused myself from the dining room. The moment the doors were shut , I suddenly begun to run , involuntarily to only find myself back in chamber , laying on my bed , with... water by the corner of my eyes?

"Noi? Are you alright?"
I looked to the door to find Rhys with Ava and Pierce who stood behind , with a worried expression. I wiped the water away from my tears as I looked away , claiming to be fine. Yet this only increase the amount of water flowing out from my eyes.

"You're not alright , Noi. Tell us , we're here for you."
Ava said with her hand resting on my back.

"Was it because of what Asch said?"
I lifted up my head , looking at Pierce , quietly nodding my head.

"Noi , you're just who you needed to be. It's fine to not be what people wanted you to be."

"You wouldn't understand , Ava ," I spoke out , "Ocellus created us to be violent and cruel-some. Yet I was created , currently with powers that might be taken away and in a weak figurine. People in Daemos doesn't like me due to my weak behavior , not to mention , a goddess."

"Nonsense you're saying. What brought up to those assumption?"
I looked up to the sudden knock , to find Benedict standing by the door , motioned to me for it's time. I stood up from the bed , dismissed from the chamber as I went to train with Ocellus.

"Noi , you're not in the situation."
I looked up to Ocellus who have her spear in hand. We have been sparring for at least 2 degrees of the sun , I got too much into the fact the goddess despise me , I kept being defeated by her. I was currently in total exhaustion.

"How , tell me how you're going to spar in war like this , even to protect Prince Asch?"

"I-I was meant to be defeated anyways. I was overly weak , that's why you gave me powers , right Goddess Ocellus?"
I lifted my head to Ocellus. Before she could say anything , a loud noise echoed the training room.
