Chapter 9

Rhys's POV

"By the fact you have been behaved well under my eyelids , I only agreed you this once to bring you to my workshop. You better behave and DON'T touch anything." They warned as I smiled and held their hand that was placed by their sides tightly.

They looked to our hands that were held tight , then looked back to me as they quickly swiped their hand out , scoffed as they begun to talk with the humans who seemed to be her servants.

"Meena! There you are!" Mr Moon exclaimed as a female human in average height of a human , dressed in a teal colour hoodie and baggy pants with white shoes , jumped a bit as they turned to us.

"Allow me to introduce! Oscar , this is Me-"
"Meena , right? Let's get to work , I believe you wouldn't want to waste one millisecond?" Oscar stated as they walked pass the female human who seemed tensed by their tone.

"They don't seemed pleased with me..." Human Meena stuttered as Mr. Moon comforted her as he pushed her to take a seat , while Oscar's hands were wondering on the fabrics , slowly and smoothly. I walked to them , questioning what they were up to.

"Ugh , Rhys. Can't you see I'm in a middle of somethi-" They stopped as they started to stare into my eyes. They soon blinked their chocolate colour eyes as they then proceeded by pushing me away , warning me never doing such actions again.

"This was the size length of Actress Meena , do take a look." One of the humans who dressed similar to Oscar but their neck was accessorised with a yellow flat rope , handed them a piece of paper as Oscar begun to study and mumble on.

"Bring the dark purple fabric and the light purple one. I got the idea." Oscar demanded the human as she begun to get serious with all of the humans who was around her.

I studied her seriousness towards work. Her eyes were reflecting the purple from the fabric , the shimmer from the sunlight that was reflected by the piece of silvers and her movements were just as speed as lightning.

"Ugh! The training was just hard!"
I looked up to a male who was dressed in a white sleeveless shirt with black tights as he placed a stick on the table and catching his breath.

He had black hair that was stood up straight as his black eyes were non-stop blinking and sweat was crawling down from his forehead.

"Relax , Johnny. First day was mostly tough."
A woman with vanilla colour skin comforted him as she handed him a white cloth to get rid of the sweat. She seemed to be a nice feminine being, and even greater , a mother as she was dressed in a blue collar short sleeved shirt with knee length pants. Below her eyes was none other but dark circles seemingly from the past.

"Who are you? You seemed new around."
I flinched by the voice as I found the man , or known as Johnny who already walked forward and stared at me with criminal like glares. His teeth was sharp as they glowed under the light.

"Actor Johnny , please quit scaring my friend. He just stared at you , nothing much. It was just friendly staring."
Oscar suddenly spoke as Johnny let out a chuckle , apologising to the both of us. He then reached his hand to me , introducing himself.

"Johnny , pleasure to meet you."
"The pleasure is mine , the name's Rhys."

"I was surprised that you unintentionally made some other human friends who were going to be famous." Oscar complimented me as they have themselves a break while the humans head for a meeting.

"Johnny was quite a great human. I don't find him hard to befriend with."
"Glad you were in the friend zone with them , I wasn't wrong to bring you here..."
They smiled as I looked away from them , earning a laugh from them.

"So... Where are we going?"
"The ice cream van out there? I mean , they're quite in the house and-"
"ICE-CREAM?!?!"
I suddenly squealed , which soon noticed a surprised expression from Oscar themselves.

"I-I mean that , i-ice-cream was... kind of one of my favourite meals on Ear-th...."
I stuttered awkwardly as Oscar suddenly let out a snort and laughed. I did got quite embarrassing with it but... the smile....

Her smile wasn't the mocking and evil like laughing , but it was truly nice and unwanted by her....

That's her true smile.

How adorable could she be when she laughed....

"You're cute when you laughed , do you know that?"
It's their turn to flinch by the words I said as they let out a small cough from their throat , rushing and urging me to keep up.

Oscar's POV

'What the hell that jerk was even talking about. It's not like I have not smiled normally for ages.' I thought as I found we're already in front of the ice cream truck.

Thankfully that I snapped out from my thought before hitting my face into the god damn truck , becoming a humiliation around the customers.

"Ah , Oscar! It's been some time!"
"It has since we last met , Alfonso." I responded as he patted me by the shoulder.

Ah yes , Alfonso. I'm quite one of his customers when he still in the old town I was raised at. But due to the fact Redshore City has more income , he moved and I have never get to eat his ice cream again.

He then took a quick peek on Rhys as he mocked me , "So , you're not single now."

I growled as I punched him by the stomach that was covered up by the working apron and his green with white stripes shirt.
"One more word , I will punch you or I shall walk in , and tell Meena about how much you liked her."

He begun to flinch as he begged me not to tell. Sure.... He was still that kind of human.... Shy yet sometimes talks well....

"Rhys , I have not forgotten your existence ," I spoke as I saw him jumped a bit ,"Rhys , this was Alfonso. He's quite a old friend to me. I have already introduced you to him. So , no hard feelings for not personally introducing you , Alfonso?"

Alfonso chuckled as he placed his hand on my shoulder , shaking his head as respond.

"The usual , Oscar?"
"You know me well , but make it two this time."
He smiled as he walked back on the truck , getting my personal favourite.

I turned to Rhys as I saw him , seemingly.... building castle nowhere in his mind. I walked to him as I gave a snap of my finger into his ear , calling out his name.

"H-Huh?"
"Man , you better stop getting distracted by something before I left you here alone." I joked.... more like threatened him , as he nodded and apologized for it.

After days of spending with the demon boys of Ava's under the same roof , Rhys was possibly the only one who I actually have talked to , for more than 50 words to be exact.

He seemed a nice guy for goodness sake but.... for goodness sake as well , I know they're courting Ava by the fact they legit called her 'Princess' and quite protective over her.

Meh , it's not I could be jealous of.....
