"What does it mean?"
"I don't know,"
Something weird is happening right now.
"Should we be worried?"
"I don't know!"
"Err...guys?"
"It hasn't happened in the past, not even once!" William looks like he's ready to call the police and sue the beach for being made of sand because you see umm...how to put it...Tom, and I'm talking about Tom Tom I mean the living icicle, the famous human shaped block of ice, anyway, he's...it's hard to say I can't believe it myself really maybe it's an omen? Maybe our end is near and soon the sun will stop shining and we'll all die frozen, it would make sense because you see this morning...Tom is late.
"I know!" Even Lin is taking part in this widespread panic.
"Guys!" I try to catch their attention again, "I think-" but before I get a chance to finish, the door of the study slams open letting in the coldest atmosphere ever recorded, we all freeze on the spot, literally.
Tom barges in, looking at his desk and only at his desk, he walks past all of us without saying a word but looking like he slaughtered a few human beings, just for fun, on his way to his study.
He takes place at his desk and we all remain silent, especially me...
"You're..." William starts but does not dare end what he was about to say.
"Late," Tom hisses through gritted teeth, at least they didn't notice the-
"What happened to your cheek?" Lin walks closer and soon they're all standing around his desk, I, on the other hand, choose to keep my distance...
Tom's eyes flash in my direction, a hard glare on his face before he goes back to staring at his empty desk, "some...unfinished business went wrong," Ahem...
A flashback is needed:
His lips are so close but...I can't do this, a part of me wants to because he's attractive, the way he's always sure about everything, it makes you wanna fall in his arms and let him take care of all your problems for you. But no, I don't wanna let people choose who I am for me anymore, I won't fall into the Prince of winter's cold arms!
I let my body take control and instinctively, my hand lifts and meets Tom's cheek making a loud noise and leaving a red mark on his face. I don't look at him and run to my room.
So here's for the little story, fun isn't it? To have the coldest boy on Earth hate your guts...even more.
I see Lin and William exchanging a confused look before she shrugs and goes to her sofa, Lin's sofa, it's not really hers but if you happen to sit on her favourite spot she...aaah focus.
"Work!" Tom groans, "I need work! Right this instant!" he orders and William understands that now's not the time to disobey him.
Suddenly the door barges open again, I spin on my heels to see who it is and...oh boy...
"WE WANT TO BE LISTENED, WE WANT CHANGES, WE WANT PROMISES!" The revolutionary group...
I think I screwed up again...
"THE Head boy MUST-"
"Shut up!" Comes a pretty angry, and may I add a cold, voice, his eyes flickering with rage in my direction, somehow he just knows this is my doing.
"I listened enough already," they've been here for two seconds but okay, "things are already changing enough in this school," not enough to my liking but... "and as for your promises, I can promise you that if you're not out of this study in three seconds I will make your life a living hell and trust me...oooh trust me I'm in the mood for that today!" he barks. This is the scariest I've ever seen Tom...
