Happiness is a butterfly, is this sweetest feeling doomed to last such a short period of time? I really love Lana Del Rey but I hope she's wrong.
We're happy, since Iceland we've actually been happier than ever, right Billie?
Am I using famous singers to digress from the subject? Not on purpose.
Tom is so busy these days and I feel lonely. I miss his hugs, I miss his lips and goddamn I even miss his hard and cold glares...yep, without my Head boy I feel all alone.
It all started a week ago after our second date when he said he had a call to make while we were eating cake, when he came back, something was weird, and even though he kissed me like he usually does, if not better and more passionately, something has been different ever since and it was okay but then he started to get busier and busier and I would fall asleep in an empty bed and wake up in a cold one. What if Tom is actually getting bored of me? Or worse, annoyed by my presence. After all, he's a living icicle.
And now I'm taking horse riding lessons, trying to impress him. Am I ridiculous? probably.
"Don't rip the carrot out of my hands! Take it gently," I chide Linette, the rude horse.
I came here twice this week already. Rick, the owner of the place says I'm a natural.
"Why the fuck does that horse's name sound so much like mine?" Lin glares at me.
"Right...what a coincidence," she doesn't need to know the truth.
"So...are we here to talk about you getting into Sebastian Poll's car?" I freeze right on the spot, that completely slipped my mind, it happened something like two weeks ago and I really thought no one saw us. He drove me home, that's it, but it was still a secret.
"Actually, no," there's something else I really wanna know. "Did you receive any important letters these past few days? Important mail or something? Because you know...just asking,"
She stiffens a little but quickly conceals it "no," It seems that we both have our little secrets... She then sighs, "Damn I haven't been horse riding in forever, where's my whip?" interesting question.
"Can I help you?" A new voice echoes from behind us, I jump and Lin just casually turns around. We discover a boy, around our age, blue piercing eyes, dirty blond hair, something almost sadistic about his face and yet, he has the most charming smile plastered on his face. Reminds me of someone...
"Err...yeah, we're here to practice, where's Rick?" I've never seen anyone else here apart from him.
"On a vacation, I will replace him for now, I'm Alex," He holds out his hand which I shake and then he looks at Lin who's obviously glaring at him and for some reason, or by some unexplainable madness, he returns the glare, TO LIN!
"I'll be over there if you need anything," he eyes her up and down before leaving.
"Who the fu-"
I quickly clasp my hand over her mouth, "and we'll be here! Doing...our thing,"
"Mmf- mmm- mmf"
"Exactly what I was about to say!"
Lin stomps my foot which makes me let go. "Rude," I say while rubbing my freshly stomped foot.
"He glared at me! That bastard is gonna get what he deserves," She starts racing after him but I catch her.
"Let's just stick to horse riding for now, besides if you intend to comit a murder you should at least wait for the night to fall," I say, humorously.
"You're right...let's wait for the night..." wait what?
"So Sebastian took me home the other night!" Quick, something to distract her. "It was nice of him but if you expect me to tell you that it awoke feelings inside of me then you're wrong, alright?"
