(William's POV)
He should be here, he's always the first one to arrive. "Hey, Mitsy, weren't you skiing with Tom?"
"I was, until he bailed on us, he literally disappeared and went god knows where! It's a shame..." she sighs, "I had the perfect plan, me getting hurt, not for real of course, him carrying me down the slope and taking care of me until he realises that I'm the one, you know, the epiphany, and then it would end in his room where he would rip off my clothes, he looks like the kind of guys who would rip off my clothes," err...
"So you don't know where he is?" I make sure I get this right. She shakes her head no.
It's getting late, what is he doing? Well, there's no reason to worry...yet.
"Twenty-five times, people!" Kala slams the door open and gets in, she looks exhausted. "I only fell twenty-five times this time," She exhales extensively before making eye contact with me, we both look away. I don't know what's going on, she's not really my type, I mean, the Kala I see with Ida. But this Kala is someone new, it's like I don't know her anymore.
"Where's Ida?" She asks.
"Isn't she with you?"
"Does it look like she's with me?" That's the Kala I know.
"Where are they..." It's too early to be worried but our two best skiers are the only ones missing even though we're almost ready to go...
(Ida's POV)
I think I might be swimming in Sardinia right now. The azure blue water, the Mediterranean sun, I went there several times with my family during summer, it's a good memory.
Although, the more conscious I become, the more I realise that I might feel like I'm swimming because I'm completely wet, but I don't think it's because of the azure blue water of Sardinia, I'm cold, so cold.
"Ida! Ida!" I hear someone say my name, rather loudly. When I open my eyes I see Tom, he's so close to my face, his body is leaning over mine as he heaves me up on my feet.
"What happened?" I ask, still a little bit disoriented.
"We fell into an ice cave," He seems so calm, he casually wraps his coat around me and mumbles something about how wet I am and how dangerous it is right now. The only sign of distress on his body are his eyebrows, the way he frowns them like he's scared that if he relaxes his body the terror will be visible.
I look around, tall walls of ice, snow all around us, it must have fallen with us and that's a good thing because it cushioned the shock.
I look up toward the hole we made, it looks like It's getting dark outside, little minus about going to Iceland in March, the night falls earlier than in Europe.
My clothes got wet because I fell into the snow, the drenched garments are slowly becoming colder and colder and soon enough I'll be able to join Tom in the icicle club.
"No, we were skiing, I remember," I try to take a step but my legs are weak and I keep losing my balance. I might have hit my head. Am I bleeding?
"Miss Abberline, calm down!"
"Don't you dare 'miss Abberline' me right now!" I snap, "it's your fault, I was trying to get away from you!" I jerk his coat at him, I don't want anything coming from him, I'm sure someone saw us falling, his little fangroup must have followed him and right now they're preparing our evacuation, I'll get out of here without his help.
"Ida you have the right to be mad at me, even though I don't agree with you about who's responsible for this situation, but please put the coat back on!" We're both so tense and I don't know if it's because I'm cold or because I'm mad but my body just can't stop trembling.
