So here she sat on her big day, going through pictures on her phone. She insisted on having at least an hour to herself before the ceremony began.

All decked out in white, with face beautifully made up she sat in the room designated for the bride in the church.

They began making that arrangement some months back to curb late arrival of the couples.

Quite smart.

Now it was her turn, she began reminiscing of the times past and the part she was on right now.

Never in a million years would she have thought life outside the coven would be possible.

Never could she have entertained the idea of God wanting her even in the state she was found.

Never would she have thought that she needed God in her life.

And never would she have thought she'd find love the way she did, and that that love could bring her to the decisions and life she was living right now.

Her phone vibrates in her hand, Duncan was calling.

'Hey',

'Hi',

'You ready yet?', he asked

'Yes, just taking the time to absorb that this is really happening',

'Oh yeah, can I see you?', he asked all of a sudden making Symphony laugh.

'You know we're not meant to right? If mum catches us she'd skewer you and give me her lovely new daughter a stern warning',it was Duncan's turn to laugh.

'Well, I thought it'd be great if we prayed one more time before we walked down the isle to forever',

'I like that, but mum just walked in. Let me tell her, I'm sure we can work something out',

'Yes yes, your church marriage counselor informed me that they have such arrangements in place. Come darling, but you're going in first and you don't need to be moving around so much. As lovely as that dress looks I'm pretty sure you'll be breathing in relief when you take it off', Nora said as she helped Symphony to the small room where thankfully there was a chair.

'Now let me go get your beau, when I knock you know he's here. Just stretch out your hand through the door and he'd hold yours',

The knock came and she did as she was told. The familiar warmth calmed the nervousness she wasn't willing to admit.

'Hey babe',

'Hi,

'You sound shaky, nervous?',

'A little, but I'm good now',

'We're going to be married in a few hours babe, this is all we've wanted for a while now', he kissed her palm making her sigh. He knew just how to calm her down.

'Thank you, I guess I needed that',

'Can we pray?', he asked in a gentle voice. She could hear someone drag a seat for him.

'Yea,we can', she squeezed his hands in affirmation.

'Father, You know that today is a significant day for us and the people with whom we serve and worship. You know all of the moments which have led up to this particular moment.

You know each step wherein we have walked with precision and balance. You know every place where we have stumbled and staggered. You have blazed this trail for us and You have grown us in our ability to follow You, as You have led us to places where we have not been before. We are stronger because of the challenging path.
