Care (YeSahi)

Asahi sat up groggily after hearing the alarm for the nth time that day. Usually, Yedam would be awake by its first ring but now the younger is still sleeping in his bed which is unusual so Asahi thought that he was tired and let him sleep off a bit more while he get them some breakfast.

After Asahi came back he prepared the table and went to their shared room to wake Yedam up.

Asahi gently shakes the younger who is buried in his blanket. He tried to pry it off Yedam's hold and when he did he saw the younger was sweating buckets. He looks pale and he's shaking a bit.

Asahi looked at him worriedly and feel his forehead. He quickly retracted his hand after feeling how hot the younger was. He immediately took the thermometer and it showed 39.5 degrees Celsius.

He was running all over their shared dorm, finding things that might help lower Yedam's temperature. He was wiping Yedam's body when suddenly his phone rang. He settled a cold towel on top of Yedam's head. He stands beside Yedam's bed his back to the younger as he answered the phone after seeing his friend Jaehyuk calling.

J: Asahi where are you and Yedam?!? It's almost time for the first class.

Asahi needs to take the phone away from his ear or he might go deaf and he forgot the sleeping boy who's just behind him who stirred in his sleep and listening to their conversation.

A: Will you please stop shouting. We won't be going today. Yedam's sick.
J: Is he okay? And what about the exam?

Yeah right they have an important exam today and Asahi totally forgot about it. This made Asahi sigh he was about to speak again when Yedam took his phone.

Yedam's stood up, snatched his phone, and immediately sat back down because of dizziness.

Y: Jaehyukie Hyung, this is Yedam. We're coming though we may arrive a bit late.

Yedam's voice was hoarse and he sound weak. Asahi immediately took his phone and told the younger one to just stay quiet.

J: hey Damie are you sure? You don't sound good.
A: Hey Jae, it's Asahi again. Don't listen to him. We won't be going. Don't worry about the exam we'll write an excuse letter just tell our professor that Yedamie has a high fever and I need to take care of him. And please write some decent notes.
J: yeah yeah I will. Take good care of our Damie ok?
A: Yes I will. Bye

"Hyung you can go ahead, I can take care of myself." Yedam immediately said once the call ended. "Yedam you can barely stand earlier and do you really think I'll leave you like this? Now lay down again, don't sleep yet you need to eat. I'll just cook some porridge." He then helps Yedam comfortably lay down. But before he can leave Yedam held his wrist "Hyung I really can take care of myself you can go attend our class." This made the elder sighed.

Asahi sat on Yedam's bed and cupped his face. "How many times do I have to tell you that I'll take care of you and I won't leave you alone? We have been here so many times now Damie. Don't you trust your hyung? I know that you can take good care of yourself. But please let me take care of you at least just for now, please?" He stared straight at Yedam's eyes. The younger pouted but nodded anyway. Asahi gently smiled

"Now that's settled, rest up, I'll just cook some porridge."

After their small talk, the day went by smoothly and by the time the clock strikes 10 in the evening, Yedam feels much better than he did earlier though he still has a fever. Asahi took good care of Yedam and Jaehyuk took good lecture notes for them (Asahi: A miracle)

Asahi is now preparing for bed and Yedam watches him. Yedam followed his every move but the elder doesn't seem bothered like it was normal for them.

Asahi then made the younger move a bit to the side and Yedam looked at him confused but followed his order anyways. Asahi's next move shocked Yedam.

"Yah! Hyung, I'm sick you can't sleep beside me." Yedam slaps his hyung's arm while Asahi's getting comfortable.

"What's the problem if you're sick? I'll be fine and I want some cuddles, come on" Asahi opened his arm waiting for Yedam to snuggle with him.

"If you get sick don't blame me"

"Yeah I won't, now come on."

"Fine."

Yedam snuggled closer to his hyung and Asahi hugged him tight and they both fell asleep.

~Next day~

A sneeze was heard early in the morning.

"Hyung I told you so. Now you can't blame me"

"Yes I know Damie"
