Jesse's POV:

I could feel tears rushing up to my eyes as I looked at the ground.

I'm never gonna see him again. He's gone. I wish I would've been there for him.

I could feel the tears over flowing and beginning to run down my face when the security guards walkie talkie went off.

"Mayday, mayday. We have a 114 on our hands. A young man by the name of Carter is here, claiming that he is a kidnapping victim," a voice came in over the radio, causing Marcus and I both to look up at the guard, who looked right back at us.

"He-he's okay," I said, in disbelief.

The guard quickly responded to the walkie talkie, informing everyone on the other side that we were here and the situation. He asked if we had clearance to come see him.

"Affirmative," a voice came through in response. Marcus and I looked at each other and smiled.

"Follow me," the guard said as he lead us inside the airport through a side entrance.

We followed the guard as he lead us down multiple corridors and hallways, before we finally got to a room which he knocked on.

The door opened up, and another guard appeared. He first looked at the guard before him and then let his eyes glance over us.

"Is my brother okay?" Marcus suddenly spoke up.

The guard didn't respond but instead opened the door wider to let us in. It was a small room with just a table and a chair, and sitting in the chair at the table was the person I love. He was staring in fear at the door, probably scared that his "parents" had come back for him.

But as soon as he realized it was Marcus and I, his eyes lit up. He let out a sob as he suddenly stood from the chair.

My eyes welled up with tears as I ran to him and pulled him into an embrace. Not a moment later I could feel another pair of arms around myself and Carter.

"I'm so sorry Carter, I should've been there for you," Marcus sobbed.

Carter pulled out of my embrace for a moment to throw his arms around his brother. "It's not your fault. None of this is your fault," Carter reassured him.

Marcus and Carter cried as I let my eyes glance over Carter, making sure he was okay. But then I noticed a patch of blood on his pants. "Oh my god, are you okay?" I asked worries, causing Carter to glance over at me and then down to where I was staring.

Marcus looked over as well and gasped when he saw the blood.

"I'm okay, I accidentally stabbed myself with a pen," he responded.

"We have an ambulance on the way, and the police," the guard who had opened the door informed us.

"Where are they?" I then asked angrily. "Where are the mother fuckers who did this to him?"

"They're gone," Carter suddenly spoke up.

"They got away?" Marcus questioned.

"Yeah," Carter mumbled back in reply. I could tell that talking about them made him uncomfortable. But I knew that he'd have to talk about them a lot for the next few hours. I figured I should change the topic, and let him breathe for a minute.

"As much as I hate that they got away, I'm just happy you're safe," I said as I reached out and tucked his hair behind his ear.

He sent me a small smile and then wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug. "Me too," he choked out in between sniffles.
