Beer cans were on the floor, crunching under our weight. The fire was still lit and stars shone from outside of the balcony. His hands were pressed against mine, flowing with the sound of his own hums. We were dancing in the moonlight, to his voice. His raspy, tired, drunk, high, sexy voice. He smiled, chin dimples showing, and setting me off in another world.

“ Avery... Come on, we're going to be late for lunch.” Becca said, interrupting my trail of thought.

“ You go ahead... I forgot something.” I turned back to the door hesitating.

“ You sure? I can wait-” I cut her off, begging her to leave.

“ I'll be fine. I'll have Ed take me back to the hotel later. Don't worry about me.” I faked a smile, seriously anxious for her to go.

After she finally left, I knocked on the door. It was like a planned reunion. I knocked not twice, and he already had the door open, locking his hands around my neck and giving me everything. I left myself vulnerable and stumbled in to the dark colored room. His kisses were sweet and perfect, exactly like before.

He ended up chasing me up the stairs, and finally catching me when we got to his room.

“ It's like... I'm being drawn to you. Like I've seen you before, and I never got to know you. Like I-” He stopped, thinking about what he was going to say next. “ Like I need you.” I smiled at the sound of that.

“ I thought it was just me.” He smiled and started kissing the nape of my neck again. His touches were soft and gentle, leaving me with the feeling of wanting more.

Somehow, we ended up in his bed again, under the sheets laughing. He knew every tickle spot and every sweet spot on me, and he took this to his advantage. Each kiss grew more passionate, sending me into a daze. I think I'm falling for a complete stranger... But he isn't a stranger at all. He's Ed. As of right now, he's my Ed.

“ So where to first?” Ed asked excitedly. I hadn't been planning out my stay, really. I've just been following... Collin.

“ London Eye, I guess.”

“ Alright then.” He replied, looking at his phone.

Almost half an hour later, we were standing in the long line to board the giant ride.

When we finally got into a pod, we were lifted high in the air.

“ Holy crap...” I said, blankly. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen I could see the water to my right and the whole city to my left. It was astonishing.

“ Right.” Ed said, knowingly. We were the fourth pod from the bottom, stopped so they could let passengers on and off. The ride went on a while longer, but stopped when we were at the top. We weren't the only two in the pod. There was a family of four and a really young couple, too. The little boy from the family started crying, probably afraid of heights. The mother comforted him by picking him up and cradling him in her arms. My mother used to do that with me. She did it with my brother, too.

The eye made it's full cycle, dropping us off at the bottom, and letting others on. It was almost dark outside, so I figured that Ed would take me home now. I felt myself get depressed suddenly.

“ Ready to go?” Ed asked.

“ Not really, but okay.” He grabbed my waist and lead me back to his car that was parked in the lot next to an building.

I sat in my seat, letting Ed close the door behind me, and buckled up.

“ So how long did it take you to save up for this monster?” I asked, admiring the 2011 Ferrari 458.

“ I didn't actually.” I stared at him for a minute. “ It's my friend, Tyler's. He's letting me borrow it to drive to work. He has three of these things.” He patted the seat, obviously in love with it.

He drove out of the lot and onto an abandoned road.

“ Where are we-” My heart leaped out of my chest as I searched for the handlebar. I watched the speedometer race up to the 100 mark and the grin on Ed's face spread from ear to ear. He spun the wheel around tightly, sending me flying against the door. He laughed at my terrified expression and switched on his headlights, racing us towards darkness.

“ Ed... Where are we going?”

“ You said you weren't ready to go home yet, so I'm not taking you home. All we did today was stand in a boring line for a twenty five minute ride. You need an adventure. An experience to remember.” He smiled and kept up the speed we were going. My heart fluttered away and landed on the dark street behind us. Adrenaline now coursing through my veins, I smiled. I love how he can make me feel like this...
