Yuri's Pov

After our daring escape from Rio and the encounter with Hobbs, we had a brief window of respite before my next move. and it involved attending Queenie's party.

Queenie, my godmother and an influential figure in the underworld, was hosting an extravagant event to celebrate the opening of her club, Aphrodite.

Surprisingly in Tokyo, my home.

In the midst of the organized chaos within the clan house, I continued my search for the missing Versace watch. "Aki!!! Akihiko where's my watch?!"

My brother Akihiko, as the clan head, always seemed unfazed by the commotion around us. "It should be there only to search properly."

I opened drawers, sifted through jewelry boxes, and checked the usual spots where I might have left it.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I spotted the glimmer of the Versace watch tucked away beneath a pile of silk scarves. A sense of relief washed over me as I retrieved it from its hiding place.

"I found it!" I exclaimed triumphantly, holding the watch up for Aki to see. He turned and offered me a satisfied smile. "See, Yuri, patience pays off."

"That's exactly why I asked you not to let anyone into my room!" I exclaimed, my frustration still evident as I continued my search through the wardrobe.

"Someone has to clean your room though." He shrugged.

Descending the stairs, I burst into the living room, where a group of men had gathered around a table, led by an elderly figure seated at the center. "Grandpa, I'm heading to a party,"

He sighed, clearly engrossed in his meeting. "I'm in the middle of something important right now. We'll talk later," he replied, not looking up from his tea.

"No, Grandpa, I'm leaving right now," I insisted, prompting another exasperated sigh from him. "Fine, take some guards with you," he relented, and I couldn't help but smile.

I knelt before him, planting a kiss on his cheek and embracing him tightly. "Thank you. I love you, bye!" I expressed my affection before leaving.

The venue was a club not far from home, and I arrived a few hours later. The guards stationed outside stopped me and requested my invitation.
