Zane helped put a large bucket away as Akari went to make dinner
Akari: I'm gonna start dinner. Could you get me some rice, please?
He nodded and walked to the cabinet and grabbed a small bowl of rice and brought it back to his mother
Akari: Thank you. Say... Is Nezuko back?
Now he's even more confused
Zane: Huh? Nezuko?
She smiled and chuckled at his antics
Akari: Don't tell me you forgot about your fiancée already?
Zane: (Fiancée? Nezuko?)
Noticing his lost look her look got serious and she pointed at him
Akari: You really forgot? I cant believe you!
He waved his hands in front of him keeping his natural neutral look
Zane: N-No I didn't forget just... Surprised I actually got engaged. Surprised anyone liked me enough.
She smiled softly and placed her hand on his head
Akari: I know. I'm proud of you. Really. Could you set up the table?
He nodded and started to set up the table for the three of them after that he decided to check his room and saw two futons right next to each other with some space in between then room itself looked normal with some flowers probably from Nezuko
Zane: (Odd... Something feels off.)
He started to walk back to the table when the door slid open
???: Its good to see you, darling.
He turned to see a smiling Nezuko with a plate of what looks like vegetables she walked up and hugged him
Nezuko: I got the vegetables for dinner tonight.
Then she looked to him
Nezuko: Are you excited? Only two more weeks until the big day. I cant wait!
She gave him a big bright smile as she walked to the kitchen leaving Zane stunned but he shook it off and followed but noticed something move out the corner of his eye
Zane: Huh?
All that was there was a mirror so he stepped closer and suddenly
Zane: Wake up!
Another Zane appeared who looked a lot different he had an blue haori and a dark navy blue uniform under and a black sword on his white belt
Zane: Wake up!
A ton of glass shards were flying past him into the mirror as the other Zane's hand reached out and grabbed him pulling into the mirror and they were suddenly under water
Zane: Wake up! You're under attack! Its a dream! This is a dream! Wake up now!
Zane: (Oh yeah... The train...)
The two Zane's were in the water with the Zane who has the sword clutching the others collar making their star necklaces' flow with the water
Zane: (The demon on the train...)
A shard of glass passed his face with a image of him sleeping on the train
Zane: You gotta wake up! You gotta fight! Fight! Fight!
A shockwave knocked each other away and suddenly he was back in the house eating
Zane: (I'm back here!)
