Genya panted having impaled Aizetsu with his own spear his hair had yellow tips
Zane: (Genya!)
Said boy looked back at him his sclera a pitch black his eyes yellow his teeth now with fangs and foam frothing from his mouth
Everything had calmed down as the bodies of the demons laid on the ground Genya grunted angrily twitching
Tanjiro: Gen... Ya...
A sudden screaming interrupted them as Karaku held his head
Karaku: Where did those slashing attacks come from? I cant regenerate!
Tanjiro: (The attacked worked!)
Karaku: The pain is scorching me!
Sekido: Calm down! You're pathetic! It takes time, but we can regenerate!
Zane: (I don't know what's going on with Genya or why he's a demon, but I figured it out since he slashed one of them! Even if we behead the four of them at the same time, it wont finish them off like it did with Gyutaro and Daki!)
He grunted
Zane: (Fighting these emotion demons is practically pointless!)
Tanjiro: Nezuko!
He ran off to his sister who was still trapped under the rubble
Zane: (Something's been bothering me since the fight started. Its possible their necks aren't their vital spots. Back when they all spilt apart from each other, I swore I heard a fifth heartbeat nearby. It was only for an instant, but I heard it. There's another demon!)
He looked around
Zane: (I have to find it! Beheading the fifth demon might be all of their vital spots...)
Suddenly he was grabbed by the neck by Genya
Genya: Don't get so full of yourself! I'm the one who's going to defeat... An Upper Rank!
Zane: Genya...
Genya: You didn't defeat Upper Six on your own! That's why you haven't become a Hashira!
Zane: Uh, yeah, I guess!
Genya: You can bet... That I'm going to... beat you both to it!
Zane: Genya! You're drooling! What's wrong? Not to mention, you're actually choking me!
The grip on his neck tightened
Genya: I'm the one who's going to become a Hashira!
Zane: I get it! Sure! There are two spots open! I'll give you and Tanjiro my full support! But right now, lets all give it our everything, all three of us!
The grip loosened
Genya: Huh?
Zane: There's another demon around here! That's why those four aren't dead yet! Help me buy some time for Tanjiro to find it!
Genya: I know what you're up to! You're just making me let my guard down, and-
He was cut off by the soft look in Zane's eye
Genya: Huh?
Then they heard the clanging of Sekido's staff as lightning struck down at them seeing said lightning Zane pushed Genya back as he dodged the lightning himself
Zane: (The anger demon's already back up! Hurry!)
He looked over to Tanjiro
Zane: Tanjiro, there's another demon nearby!
