Through the forest running after the fifth body was Tanjiro his blade glowing
Tanjiro: (You're not getting away!)
He got in front of it and he raised his blade behind his head and stomped his foot down pink and orange flames erupting on his blade as the demon tried to escape
Tanjiro: (Its tiny... And hard to target!)
He lunged forward swinging his blade around then striking the neck of the tiny demon with a clang
Tanjiro: (All right! I can do it!)
"Fear"
The demon screamed at the top of his lungs letting out a screeching sound making Tanjiro cringe and Zane to look over
Zane: (What a horrible voice! My ears! Tanjiro's got it! Is he struggling? If that demon is beheaded this'll end! I'll help him!)
He turned around to help Tanjiro finish the job moving his blade over to his left when he suddenly felt a dangerous presence behind him
"Hatred"
Zane: (What's this? Behind me... There's something behind me!)
A heartbeat sounded out
Zane: (Joy! Anger! Sorrow! Pleasure! This doesn't sound like any other demon! What's behind me? It doesn't matter, as long as Tanjiro can behead that demon we'll--)
The flames and red glow on Tanjiro's blade faded away
Zane: (He ran out! Tanjiro ran out of time!)
The demon behind him raised up glaring at him
Genya: Zane! Get out of the way!
He raised his gun
Zane: (Its no good! I made the wrong call! Genya cant fire his gun... Without hitting me!
From the demons hand sprouted a double ended bone-like dagger
Zane: (Crap!)
Instead of stabbing Zane the demon hit one of the drums on his back
Zane: (Here comes an attack!)
Thinking quickly Zane lunged his leg forward and kicked Tanjiro to the side as an explosion erupted behind him and through the smoke a wooden dragon broke through the ground
More dragons followed as Zane rode on ones back he heard one attempt to bite him so he let go and fell dodging the bite as he landed on another one stabbing his sword to slow his descent
Behind him another tried to attack him but he jumped to another dragon grabbing its horns then he swung away avoiding an attack he slid down one of the trunks when two more lunged at him
Seeing that Zane jumped away letting them hit each other as he rolled on the ground stopping with Tanjiro and Nezuko to his right
Tanjiro: Zane! Are you okay?
Zane: Yeah! I'm fine!
He looked back to the demon
Hatred: You brutal fiends who torment the weak... Atrocious... Offensive... To the extreme.
"Upper Four"
A wave of bloodlust overwhelmed the four as the demon held out his two daggers protectively
Hatred: Damn you, awful villains...
Zane: (A sixth... Demon? Another one? Seriously, enough already! No. This isn't another demon. The other four demons are gone!)
