Through the forest Muichiro ran back to the building he was flung out of when he noticed Kotetsu trying to fight off a fish demon but he didn't stop and kept running forward
Kotetsu jumped back as the fish swung at him hitting the ground but it managed to grab Kotetsu still Tokito didn't stop
[Tanjiro: Whatever you do for others comes around to help you, as well, in the end.]
Tokito stopped as Kotetsu was squeezed making him go limp as the fish prepared to eat him his arm was suddenly sliced off Kotetsu landed on the ground as Muichiro stood in front of him
Muichiro: Run.
Kotetsu: You...
Tokito held his sword around his body as he crouched down
Muichiro: You're in my way, so just run.
He watched the fish demon regrow its arm as Kotetsu decided to run off then the demon lunged forward but was far too slow as Muichiro quickly cut its head off leaving Kotetsu in awe
Tokito flicked his blade to the side however the demon didn't die then the head regrew
Muichiro: (I sliced off what I thought was its head, but rather than disintegrate, its body is regenerating.)
He looked up
Muichiro: (So that must be it.)
The pot was the key and angered the demon attacked Muichiro but said boy jumped up and sliced the pot in half making the demon roar in pain then it started to fade away
Muichiro: (It was getting its power from that vase. So, its definitely a product of a Blood Demon Art.)
From the bushes Kotetsu ran up to Tokito and jumped on him crying his eyes out
Kotetsu: Thank you! I thought I was a goner!
He hopped down
Kotetsu: I thought I was dead! I was so scared!
He jumped back on Tokito and climbed up him
Kotetsu: I shouldn't have called you "seaweed head"! I'm so sorry!
Muichiro: You called me "seaweed head"?
This surprised Kotetsu and he got back on the ground
Kotetsu: Sorry! I didn't like you!
Muichiro: I don't have time for this. I'm leaving now, so do whatever you want.
He began to walk away
Kotetsu: Wait! They attacked Mr. Kanamori, too! When I went to help him out, that monster assaulted me!
He ran in front of Muichiro
Kotetsu: Mr. Haganezuka's been working non stop without sleep to restore a sword... So if he stops even for a second, that will be the end of it! Please...
He bowed to the Hashira
Kotetsu: Save him!
Muichiro looked at the boy
Kotetsu: Please!
Muichiro: No... I...
Then a hazy memory appeared in his head as the Master smiled at him
Ubuyashiki: You'll be able to find yourself again for sure... Muichiro.
Tokito grabbed his head shocked by the memory as he saw himself laying down dirty, bloody with bandages all over
Ubuyashiki: I know you must be confused, but for now, just focus on living, nothing more. As long as you're, alive things will work out.
He looked to the injured boy
