Another bright light appears as the lead guy throws out his pokemon to finish David's beating, and he tries to mentally prepare for his beating with some new pokemon as that was what the guy was implying.
"Blaziken!"
'Fuck'
The pokemon was a Blaziken, a large, bipedal, humanoid bird-like or chicken-like Pokémon resembling a rooster. Its face, lower body, arms, and tail are bright red, with some yellow patches on its chest and running down its legs and feet. With this one standing at a height of 6' it was a fire and fighting type pokemon meaning that David was going to have some first-degree burns if he is lucky after the beating from the pokemon.
The Blaziken like most new pokemon that came out to beat up David was confused as it did not see any pokemon out from the human in front of it if anything he looked pretty beat up that the Blaziken wanted to help the human in front of it.
"Blaziken, use Flame Punch!" The guy cries out, wanting to get the beating started, so he could walk back home
"Blaziken?" The Blaziken was confused, though, since it did not see anything to punch
"Tsk... stupid pokemon," The guy says before he points at David
"Blaziken, use Flame Punch on that guy!" He yells out
"Blaziken..." The Blaziken was clearly against attacking a human, especially one who already looked beat up
"Don't want to do it, huh? Fine *hick* let me show you what happens when one of my pokemon goes against me."
The guy removes his belt while also grabbing his poke ball and bringing it close to his mouth.
"Command, stay still and take my punishment," The guy lets out into his poke ball
David's already gloomy mood worsens as he realizes what the bastard is going to do. A recent addition to some newer poke balls was the ability to command a pokemon to do something they did not want to. It was meant to help with dealing with unruly wild pokemon that are caught, but problems arose quickly so only one command could be given to a new pokemon at any point in their life with a single trainer.
The guy was walking towards the Blaziken, who, as per the command, was standing still and waiting for its punishment from its trainer.
The guy brought up his belt and was about to swing it across the Blaziken's face but instead, the sound of leather meeting flesh is heard not from the Blaziken being struck but from David's body, who had received the blow in its stead. It stung like a whip and hurt like hell, but all it would do was just leave a mark and nothing more after a few days.
"It's me you want to beat up, not your pokemon," David tells the guy as he rubs his chest since the guy's aim is terrible.
"Eh... yeah... it's you I should be mad about and not this sorry excuse for a pokemon," The guy says as he starts wailing into David with his belt
