David is a simple man who lives at his home in the city of Northpass, which is known for its variety of pokemon from all sorts of regions, making it attractive to new pokemon trainers. However, a pokemon journey is a cliche, so instead, we focus on...
"Oh, here you are, Blaziken," David says as he walks closer to the naturally formed pool.
Blaziken blushes as she slowly backs away from David, which he quickly catches on to.
"Ah, my bad, I just came here to see how you were adjusting here after the past couple of days that you have been able to stay with the wild Pokemon," David explains his reasoning to her as he sits down at the edge of the little pool.
"Ken" A smile and thumbs up was her response to David's inquiry as she settled in much better than she had expected.
The only one out of the three that seemed to be having some difficulties would probably be Rae the Cinderance, mostly because she has been hit on a couple of times already by a few other rabbit-looking Pokemon, which was to be expected.
"Anyway, since I just needed to check on you, I guess I'll be going now," David says as he takes his legs out of the water and stands up.
"Blaze!"
Blaziken calling out to David makes him stop and turn with a questioning gaze plastered on his face as he is unsure why she called out to him.
"What, is there something else?" David asks as he turns, but his eyes widen when he sees a boulder come flying straight at the pool.
Without hesitation, David grabbed Blaziken and pulled her out of the way as the boulder splashed into the pool, with the said pool no longer existing as the boulder covered it up.
"What the hell?!" David shouts as he looks around at who is throwing the boulders
It becomes pretty apparent as across the river, a pair of Nidokings seemingly have a brawl over something, with one of them picking up boulders that form from the ground and tossing them at the other, who is smacking them away in random directions, which explains the boulder just now.

Not wanting to stick your nose into something that isn't your problem, you grab Blaziken's wrist once more and lead her away from the two fighting Pokemon since they were unpredictable, and it seemed that no one else was around, so it was fine.
Once a safe distance away, you turn and look at Blaziken.
"You okay?" David asks, seeing as she has not said anything since the pool.
"... Ken" A mumble of response was given, but it was still a response that David was glad to hear.
"Glad to hear then, though sorry that your time in the pool got cut short by those Nidoking though," David says as he lets go of her hand and backs away.
Though surprisingly, Blaziken grabs his hand and pulls him close with her eyes staring into his own.
Realizing what may ensue, David was unsure if he should continue since he had already plunged into pokefilia. Still, he was unsure how deep he wanted to go down this metaphorical hole.
