Waking up early, precisely at six in the morning, David gets up off the couch to see how much he bled, and to no surprise, the once clean cover was now covered in blood.

Cleaning it all up, David finishes up and walks into the bathroom on the second floor as quietly as possible after actually taking a shower after so long that it feels surreal to him. Still, David needed to clean up the dried blood on his body since he would continue to bleed after bandaging himself.

He felt woozy, but he had to take things slower than needed for the day since he had lost too much blood.

He still felt some stings on his skin from the areas of the cuts since they were still relatively fresh; thus, the soap stung him on occasion.

Once done, he took his towel and started to dry himself before wrapping new bandages across his body that he covered with his shirt and pants.

Once dressed, David leaves the bathroom to see the Cinderace standing outside the door while rubbing its eyes, showing that it had just woken up.

"Oh, I'm sorry, did I wake you?" David asks

"Cinderace..." The Cinderace mumbles, still half asleep

"Here, let's get you back to bed, alright? We got a long walk ahead of us today, so you'll need your rest," David says while leading the Cinderace back to his room.

After getting the Cinderace back in bed, David begins to pack a backpack full of items he should bring for him and the pokemon. He was preparing lunches, snacks, and water for the trip, as it may take them a while to get there with the group.

It was about eight in the morning when he was done, so David began to get breakfast going. Seeing as everyone would soon start waking up, he wanted to have their meals ready before they woke up.

Opening the fridge, David takes out a carton of eggs from the refrigerator he bought last week and cooks them up with a few chopped-up berries to make a sort of berry omelet for the pokemon to eat.

There were a few berries that David had picked in the forest, and all pokemon generally liked those, so he went ahead and started making the omelets for everyone. Soon enough, the eggs were used up, and the omelets were finished before being placed in their seats.

David pours some orange juice since he usually drinks a lot of the stuff whenever he has to bleed.

He drinks a few glasses before he walks upstairs to check to see if the pokemon are awake yet, they had a busy day today, and David wanted to get them up and going for the day.

With everything ready and seeing that breakfast was on the table, David walks upstairs, opens his room door slightly, and takes a peek inside.

The three of them were still sleeping peacefully, which was good to see, and since he had been awake for the majority of last night, he confirmed that none of them had nightmares or difficulties with everything that happened to them.

David smiles at the bedside as he sees that the Arbok had climbed into the bed with the other two, and now both it and the Cinderance were pushed up against the Blaziken, who was getting sandwiched in the bed. Still, it appeared not to mind its current situation as it slept peacefully with the other two.

"Alright guys, time to wake up now~," David says in a soft bed while gently shaking them awake.

"Arbok..." A tired cry from the Arbok erupts as it wakes up with heavy eyes and a heavy yawn greeting the day

However, as it opens its mouth and tastes the air, it freezes as the heavy stench of blood penetrates it.

There was also a familiar smell in the air, but it was hard to pinpoint immediately since the metallic stench of blood hung in the air that masked it.
