Love me, Love me Not

Chapter 20

Sariba packed her bag quickly, and stormed out of her cousins house, ignoring their screams for her to come back. Tears of anger in her eyes, thoughts of suicide in her mind, she was lost. What business did those mutts have banning her after a fight with her brother?  She opened the portal to go back to the Southern Kingdom, and went home, just like they wanted. It was different from the world she was in. It was dark, everyone let their other selves out. The laws were strict here, and the King had his favorites. Luckily Sariba was one of his favorites, but that was only because of James.

Southern Vampires have an inner self, sort of like how the wolves have an inner wolf. They have ears and a tail to match their personality. James is a Lion, along with Phillip since they are twins. Ali is a rabbit, because she's innocent and never fights with anyone. Sariba, she's a Fox. And she never let any of the Scrubbans see her ears and tail. Ever. Carlos saw them once, but his brothers never saw them because they'd laugh. It was because of how quiet and clever she could be, and she was sneaky. Secretive. Hence why no one except her siblings and Carlos knew about them. Now that she was back in her kingdom, she was relieved to let them breathe again.

She made her way, first, to her older brother Phillips house. She knew he'd tell James everything from their conversation and that's exactly what she wanted. He probably didn't even know she was banished. Sariba knocked on her brothers door and a girl with wolf ears opened the door. "Um hi. Who are you." The wolf girl said with a slight attitude. Sariba chuckled and just pushed past her and went into the house to find her brother, who was in the kitchen making chow mein for his wolf girl. "Phil.. they banished me." Sariba said quietly. He turned around and saw his younger sister almost in tears. "For that fight with James?" Phillip questioned.

That was a family matter and the packs didn't have any business banishing her over something that didn't deal with them. This just pissed Phillip off when Sariba just simply nodded at his question and looked down at her phone in defeat. "I'm going to Black tomorrow.. gonna get a job." Sariba whispered. Phillip shook his head disapprovingly at her. "Don't do that." Phillip said to his clearly fragile sister. But when he turned around to look her in the eye, she had already gone to see the King, without saying goodbye. "Shit."  Phillip mumbled, and he called his twin to try and sort out the mess that he basically started in the first place.

"What the fuck do you mean she was banished?" James yelled at Phillip on the phone. Marti, in the bed beside him now awake from the yelling. He hung up the phone, and got up and started getting dressed to head to the South to talk to his sister. "What's going on.." Marti said as she rubbed her eyes, which still showed traces of sleep in them. James chuckled in anger and just shook his head, ignoring his now fiancé. He stormed downstairs to leave, but Marti grabbed him before he could. "James.. talk to me." She whispered as she looked up at him with her best doe eyes. James snatched his arm away from her and rolled his eyes. "You're little wolf friend banished my sister back to the South, and now she's trying to see the King." James sneered. "Mart.. I love you.. but I did not want my sister to hate me." James said before he walked out the door, leaving Marti standing there with her arms around herself, still in pajamas.

Marti had called Mia over that night that James left. She was angry and hurt. Angry because Klaus went to the extreme like he did, and hurt because James blamed her. She cried to Mia and Maria all night that night, and they ended up crashing on the floor of her living room. When morning came, James was still not home. Marti blamed herself, but now she was going after the boy who banished her.
