What James and his other siblings didn't realize, was that Sariba was in fact, in the South. Black had agreed to lie to her brother, in order to protect her well-being. She had explained what happened to the King, and told him how broken she was. So when James went forward to the King, and asked if his baby sister was with him in the palace, the King didn't lie, but didn't tell the truth either. He was letting the young vampire recover from the pain her brother caused.
James was frustrated and confused. He had checked every kingdom, and the human world, and he never found her. Of course he was oblivious to where she really was. Sariba decided to contact one person who she knew would relate to her. Logan. He ran away from his family long ago and has been in hiding since. It wasn't for the same reason she was. He wasn't banned, he chose to leave. Instead, his father had beaten him, and his sister. When he was old enough, he left, trying to take his sister with him, who had refused to go. His father and mother were killed by two trained assassins while he was in hiding. Regardless of their differences in the situation, she knew he would understand and help her. She just hoped he wouldn't tell her brother where she was.
Logan was in his beach house in the human world when he received the call from the young Southern. None of his family knew he stayed in the human world, and Sariba and James were the only vampires who actually did. When he answered the phone, the girl on the other end was sobbing and he could just tell she was broken. "Sariba.. what's wrong.." He asked, concern lacing his voice. He heard her choke on a sob and he raised an eyebrow. She was never this upset. "I ran Logan.. the wolves.. they banished me and I ran. I'm not letting him find me." Sariba sobbed. Logan, shocked at what he just heard, got up and started packing his duffel bag. "Where are you?" He asked. He was ready to find her.
On the other end, she shook her head and covered her mouth, to prevent another sob from coming out. She didn't want anyone finding her. He would tell her brother. "I can't tell you.." She whispered to the hundred year old vampire on the other end of the phone. She heard Logan sigh in understanding. "Just please, tell my brother and cousins to stop looking for me. I don't want found." She asked softly. Logan, who held his head in his hands in frustration, agreed reluctantly. When the young girl hung up, he threw his duffel bag across the room frustrated. She was running just like he did. And there was nothing he could do to stop her, because she didn't want stopped.
After about an hour, he smelt the smell of wet dog enter his house. Two wolves had just entered his house, uninvited. Typical mutts. He headed to the downstairs area, where he saw his old friend Carlos, and the Japanese wolf that had been the cause of the southern girls breakdown. Logan rolled his eyes at the two wolves, and went over to his bar to pour himself a much needed drink. The two wolves followed him, Klaus more confused about his hiding then Carlos was. "Why do you have a picture of Renee on your side table?" Klaus asked. Logan looked over at the picture he was questioning, and positioned it face down, so the nosey dog couldn't intrude more than he has. "That's my mother. You mind?" Logan replied snarkingly.
Carlos elbowed his friend, making him know that he crossed a slight line. Klaus winced in pain while the vampire in front of them just glared at them in annoyance, sipping his drink. "Look, come to the northern Kingdom with us.. you have a little sister." Carlos said to Logan. Logan looked up in shock. He knew about his brother, Biker, who was born shortly before he left, but a younger sister? And his cousins Mia and Harry must still be around too. "I can't.. my parents.." Logan whispered. "Are dead." Klaus said bluntly. Logan met the wolfs golden eyes in shock. So he had a younger sister, and his mother and father were dead. What else didn't he know?
Logan sighed, knowing that if he didn't go, he would be alone for the rest of his life. "Fine." Logan said quietly. He opened a portal to the northern kingdom, his duffel bag that he packed when we about to find Sariba in his hand. The two wolves and Logan stepped through the portal, being met by James and Kendall immediately. "Look who we have here." Kendall said sarcasm lacing his voice. He threw an arm around Logan, while James walked beside the him and Carlos. "Welcome back LogiBear." James chuckled. Logan rolled his eyes at the older southern, still angry at the situation between him and his little sister. He swatted his friends arms off of him, and walked ahead of them, heading for his families palace, which he avoided for 90 some years. It felt good to be home. Hopefully he didn't regret it.
