Anastasia herself, was currently in the Middle Kingdom getting ready to meet the young vampires in the north. She didn't know about the wolves, or about the other vampires that were going to be there. Her task at hand was to see Mia, and Sariba. They both had broken laws when they mated with werewolves and she was supposed to take care of it. She was supposed to take care of them both, by herself. However, she had a hunch that she wouldn't be coming back from the Northern Kingdom. She knew that Sariba would've seen her coming, and she knew how powerful the two girls can be with their elements.
What she didn't realize, is that when she got through the portal to the northern kingdom, there was two wolf packs stalking her every move. Just waiting for her to mess up. The smell of vampires overrode the wet dog smell of them, so she couldn't even smell their scent. She only knew of Andres, and that was because he was Mia's half brother, however, he decided not to shift for the meeting.Sariba and Mia stood outside the castle, watching the red eyed blonde approach them with such elegance and power, that both of them felt overwhelmed by her aura as she approached. Anastasia held a knowing smirk, she knew the power she held over people, and she could tell that the two girls feared her. They should fear her. Mia grabbed Sariba's hand tightly, seeing the blonde approach them, she began to fear for her life. Unlike her dark eyed best friend, Sariba held her ground. It was a dangerous thing for her to do, but she figured that it was better to look brave, than to look scared. Her brother wasn't far away, and the wolves were all around her. She was protected, nothing was going to happen to them.
Soon enough, Anastasia was in front of the two girls, glaring at them so hard that if looks could kill, they would be dead already. Mia winced under her glare, while Sariba simply glared back. "I think you know why I'm here." Anastasia said smoothly. Her voice like velvet, and her voice held as much power as her posture did. She knew how to hold herself. Sariba simply nodded while Mia shook her head, and glanced at her best friend confused. Sariba never told the others why she was coming for them, just that she was. But Sariba knew it was because she had Amanda and Jade with Carlos. She knew it was frowned upon to have halflings. "Because we mated with wolves..am I right?" Sariba said with attitude in her voice. Mia looked at her best friend shocked. No one ever talked to the red eyed girl like that before, and from the looks of it, Anastasia was just as shocked. She remained her composure and simply nodded. "The children bred need to be taken care of." Anastasia said simply.
At this, Sariba simply shrugged. It was Hazza that was in danger now, Antonio and Mia's child. Carlos's father had killed her daughters. There was nothing left of them except for a grave, and when Anastasia mentioned them, she swore she heard Carlos whimper from his hiding spot a couple yards away. "My girls died.. there's nothing left of them.." Sariba said, choking on her tears. She shouldn't still be mourning the girls that never even had a chance to live, but they were a part of her. At this statement, the powerful vampire dismissed Sariba, and focused primarily on Mia. She knew she was hiding Hazza but she didn't know where. However, when she went to search, was when she heard the loud growl of the wolf who was Hazza's father. Sariba smirked from behind Klaus, who was currently in his wolf form. He was a jet black wolf, and his eyes were still his golden color. Tony, who was a grey wolf, and Katrina who was a specked grey wolf was on both sides of their alpha. She watched Antonio step in front of Mia in his wolf form, and let out the loudest snarl she has ever heard from him.
It didn't seem to phase Anastasia much though, because she simply just rolled her eyes. She took Antonio by the ear, and flipped him on his back, earning a loud yelp in return. Sariba grimaced at the sight, but then Klaus started moving forward towards the red eyed girl. At the same time Klaus moved, Carlos moved forward from his hiding place, snarling louder than she had ever seen him before. Anastasia looked around in fear, realizing what was happening. Mia and Sariba made eye contact with each other, and smirked, realizing that their plan was working. They wouldn't die today, not by her hands, not while the wolves were around.
Carlos tackled Anastasia by the neck, and tore her head off while the other wolves tore her limb from limb. Sariba looked at the Snow White wolf she used to love in shock. She knew he killed, and he killed, a lot.. but she never seen him do it before. She never knew how brutal he was, or how violent he was. Regardless of the rumors that went around, saying he hit her, and that he was horrible towards her, they were never true. They were all rumors started by the damned Scrubban family, who was mad that she got Ty killed. That whole family still held a grudge against her for it. She shook her head to let the memories go, to stop thinking about it.
She went over to the two wolves, one white and one black, like a ying yang, and hugged them both tightly. They both knew that she appreciated them, and she didn't have to actually say it, she just knew how to show it. James came up from behind her, and put an hand on her shoulder, earning a flinch from his younger sister. She turned around, and saw her older brother, looking down at her with sadness and regret, and immediately tackled him in a hug. She no longer held a grudge towards him, she knew how love could be. However, she still didn't approve of his choice when it came to Marti. She had a hunch that she would just hurt her brother in the end, and usually her hunches always ended up turning out to be true.
But she didn't want to focus on that right now, she just focused on hugging her brother. Realizing how much she missed him, and how much she actually missed Carlos and Antonio. She apologized over, and over, for hurting him. Every time she apologized to James, he would shut down her apology, saying it was his own fault. Even though she knew it wasn't true, that was the kind of brother he was. Eventually she just gave up arguing with him, and they both went home. Sariba went home with Klaus that night, cuddled into him and they fell into a dreamless sleep. A sleep with no visions, and no nightmares. Completely peaceful, as it should've been. Can everything actually stay this way?
