Chapter 25

Now, Sariba knew everything about Mia. She knew when she dated Antonio, and she knew when she dated Javi. She knew when Javi and Mia broke up, and she knew the real reasoning behind it. She didn't believe Javi's "story" for a second, when he said that Mia was a slutty bitch. She knew he was hiding something. As it turns out, you can't really hide anything from a vampire who can see the future, because she really did know almost everything. Javi and Mia broke up because Javi went to work for his father again, who was evil, and he abused Scarlet multiple times. Javi didn't know Sariba knew this, so he tried to bullshit her.

So when Sariba went up to the castle to talk to Mia about Anastasia's arrival, she wasn't at all surprised when it was Logan who had greeted her. As it turns out, Logan was in love with Mia, and Mia was in love with Logan. However, she only one agenda, and that was to see her old friend who she knew would help her in an instant. She pushed past Logan and went up and down the halls, and up and down the many flights of stairs, until she finally caught the scent of the princess. The room that she had found her in, was gigantic. It was a recording studio, big enough for not one, but two bands to record in at one time. In the middle of the studio, Mia was singing an ancient Northern Song in a language that Sariba didn't understand, but she knew from her ears that it was beautiful.

When Mia was done singing, she looked up and saw her blue eyed best friend behind the sound proof glass, and blushed furiously. No one had ever heard her sing before, and she wasn't planning on anyone hearing her sing. However, she also saw the worry in her best friends eyes, and her eyes narrowed in confusion at Sariba. Something was off. She left the studio and went to hug Sariba but she pulled away before Mia could make contact. "We need to talk.." Sariba said seriously. "Maybe you should bring the packs too." She continued.

This confused Mia, since the only wolves Sariba associated with now was Antonio and her cousins, after she and Carlos split ways. But Mia did what she asked. She summoned the wolves from Andres's and Klaus's pack and her and Sariba went into the throne room to talk. Sariba wasn't making eye contact with her, and Mia was getting more and more worried as the minutes went by. "So.. anyone gonna say what's going on." Luke said annoyed. His brother, Justin, nudged him on the shoulder, telling him to control his anger issues. Sariba looked up at the young wolf, and took a breathe that she felt she had been holding in for awhile. "There's a threat coming, and I don't know if we'll be able to defeat her." Sariba said looking down. Anger flashed across Keatons face in disbelief. "What the fuck do you mean." Keaton said angrily. Mia shot him a warning look, and looked back at her best friend softly.

"What did you see Sariba.." Mia said softly. Sariba looked at Mia with tears in her eyes, and just whispered "Anastasia." Mia gasped in disbelief and dropped the glass she was holding, causing it to shatter on the floor. Wesley and Keaton looked over at their mother with worry and confusion, while Tony decided to be the one to break the ice. "Who the hell is Anastasia?" Tony asked confused. Mia and Sariba looked at all the wolves pained, they knew they might die, and if they don't, they were very lucky. "Anastasia is a very powerful vampire, and the leader of our government.. if she's coming, than she's coming to kill us." Mia said sternly. Andres looked at his baby sister with shock, while the young wolves behind him growled defensively.

"There's got to be something we can do." Danger said with an edge to his voice, Sariba had never heard before. She glared at the boy and her brother before walking over to Antonio, who wrapped his arm around her shoulders in a way to comfort her. "I didn't see a way out.. I saw me dying.." Sariba said softly. At this, Antonio tightened his grip, and Carlos looked over at his ex in shock. She looked so vulnerable and scared right now that it was a foreign look. "So we fight." Mike said confidently. His two brothers Justin and Luke just looked at him in shock, while Katrina smacked him upside the head. "That's not up for you to decide Michael." Katrina hissed.

Sariba looked blankly at the siblings who were fighting. Klaus had recently broken up with Katrina, because Katrina had cheated on him with her ex, from about 5 years back. Now Klaus and Sariba were a thing, weirdly enough. No one expected it to happen, but he liked her because she fought back, and she liked him because he could handle her attitude. However, Sariba absolutely hated Katrina. "Can you shut the hell up, it's the alphas decision for the packs to join, not your physco asses." Sariba hissed. This caused Klaus to chuckle from beside Andres, and Sariba just rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Yeah, but we will help if you need us to." Andres said trying to help. Sariba looked at the oldest Pena gratefully and mouthed a thank you to him. "We have to start training, we don't know what she's going to throw at us, and we don't know why she's coming for us in the first place." Mia said with power in her voice. So all the wolves from all the packs, and everyone in the castle went to the training room in the basement and began to prepare for a war. Believe it or not, there wasn't even one coming. They didn't know that, so it was good that they were extra prepared. Anastasia didn't know about the battalion that was going to be prepared against her when she arrived in a couple days.
