2 weeks Later:

I'm dating that Ty now. No, my brother didn't approve. They found out who my brother was, but they are extremely uneducated. They told me he was a vampire who didn't know he was a vampire. They found the two that Roni turned. Their names are Marti and Stephanie. But from what I can tell, they aren't actually vampires at all.
When I told my brother about Ty, he flipped. I'm grounded now. Yeah, he has authority to ground me. Our parents are dead so he's technically my guardian. But the Scrubbans so far, are extremely problematic. The Pena Pack is after them already, so I didn't even have to do anything. Carlos and Andres attacked them at the school last week. I also found out Mia has the same powers as my brother. I guess there's one in every family.
Now I'm supposed to meet the Scrubbans at their house to meet the two new "Vampires" who I don't believe are vampires. My brother got me into this mess, he better get me out.
"Sariba, hey! You made it!" Ty said coming out of his house.
"Yeah, I did. Where are they? You said you found them.." I questioned.
"Inside, come on, let me introduce you." Ty said and then he walked me inside. The house was mansionlike. The living room was huge with a chandelier hanging down, an L shaped couch and two bean bags in the middle with a fireplace and a tv mounted on top. The kitchen was only slightly smaller than the common area, and don't get me started on the bathroom. Than a ginger girl jumped infront of me. "Hey! I'm Marti. Who are you!" Oh. Okay. One of the new ones. "I'm Sariba." I said shaking her hand.
"What a pretty name for a fake.." said a brunette as she walking in the room from outside.
"What do you mean? And who are you?" I questioned. I'm not a fake. I'm not faking anything. "You're faking being apart of this family but I can see past it. I know your secret." The brunette sneered. "I'm Stephanie, by the way."
"Well, Stephanie. I'm not faking nothing. Maybe you are though, you don't smell like a vampire, more demon like." I sneered back. I knew she wasn't one.
"Why you little!" Stephanie started until Roni came into the room. "Hey.. all the newbies are getting along, that's great!" He said cheerfully. This is ridiculous. I'm not a newbie.
"Yeah.. totally.. look maybe I should go home." I said with the fakest smile possible on my face. I miss the South. I miss home. I want to go home. Away from all these Eastern fleabags. Away from the smell of wolf.
"Okay.. well.. be safe." Ty said as he kissed my cheek.
"I will, my love." I said as I left. But as I was on my way to the portal, I smelt it. The wet dog smell of a wolf. It smells so horrible it makes me sick to my stomach. And I knew exactly who it was. "What do you want now Carlos." I screamed in a whisper. If the Scrubbans knew that I knew him, I know I'd be in deep shit.
"Why are you even hanging out with them Sariba? They hate me.. They hate your type!" He yelled at me. I winced as I looked at him. I know he still cares for me. He loves me, but I can't do it. I don't want to. I don't want hurt. His family has a bad reputation that I'm not ready to pull with me.
"It's an act Los.. James wants me to spy on them. It's no big deal." I said as Carlos walked beside me. We used to be best friends. I don't remember what happened. I don't think I want to. I know him and James argued really bad that night while I secluded myself in my room. "Besides.. you're evil in their eyes.. if they see me with you.." I started. "Yeah. I'm evil sometimes, but my brothers are way worse than I am." He said looking at me. I shook my head. "Antonio is a sweetheart Los, and you know it. You and Andres are the deadly ones. And that's cause of senior." I argued. He looked down and shrugged. He knew I was right.
Once we came to the portal I turned and looked around. I really hate this place. I hate this plan. "Don't worry Los.. I'll be fine. How bad could they hurt me?" I asked jokingly. He had nothing but worry in his eyes but I shook it off, kissed his cheek and went through the portal to home.
