Chapter 34

Unfortunately, someone else got to Sariba before James could. She was on her bed, at her cousins house staring at her phone waiting for her brother to call, when the doorbell rang. She knew one of the three boys in the house would answer it, so she just sighed and kept Locking and unlocking her phone.

After a couple minutes there was a knock on her bedroom door, and before she could answer saying come in, Justin walked in with someone she least expected seeing. Zayn Malik who she had befriended during her absence from the Scrubbans, and Antonio had come over with solemn looks. She looked at her cousin confused, who just shrugged and left the room leaving her with the two boys. Zayn sat on her right side, while Antonio sat on her left. She looked at Antonio with worry in her eyes, and he looked down avoiding her eyes.

"Tonio.. Zayn.. what aren't you guys telling me.." Sariba said her voice shaking with worry. Antonio nodded at Zayn to wrap his arms around Sariba in preparation to tell her about her brother, who was actually alive but they were already traveling to her before he came back. "Sar.. James is missing. His Family got attacked, and no one's heard from Him or Marti in days." Antonio said calmly while she was in Zayns arms. She shook her head in denial at her best friend and looked up at the British boy behind her. "No.. Z, tell me he's lying." Sariba said on the verge on tears.

Zayn sighed, while looking into Sariba's tear filled eyes. "It's true.. I'm sorry." Zayn said while tightening his grip on his friend. She screamed a scream so loud that Carter burst into the room, concerned as to why his cousin was screaming. He was greeted with the sight of the young vampire in Zayns Arms, hugging her from behind, while she was choking on her own sobs. "Nuggie.." Carter went over to her and grabbed her hand. Her now reddened eyes, met his hazel eyes. He flinched in shock at seeing her eyes so red. She was usually calm and collected, and her eyes usually maintained a blue appearance.

"Sariba, please calm down.. he could still be alive.." Antonio said, wiping her tears from her face. She shook her head and dropped her head into the crook of Zayns neck and cried. Carter looked over and Antonio saw the same amount of worry for the vampire that he had. "She's been trying to call him for days and he hasn't been answering.." Carter told the vampire and wolf in-front of him. This made her sob more while Zayn held her tighter. Zayn turned her head to look at him and gave her a small smile, which she returned a fake one. "Do you wanna maybe go see Lou and Niall? See if they can cheer you up?" Zayn suggested.

Without the Scrubbans knowledge, she had befriended all the boys except for Mia's older brother, who was still cautious of the Southern. The others accepted her graciously, as she was the first one to introduce herself and them. She nodded her head at the boy infront of her, with a small smile. "Yeah.. that'd be great Z.. maybe I can stay the night at your place..?" She said tilting her head with puppy dog eyes. He chuckled at her and nodded, and they took a portal to England to be with Louis and Niall to take her mind off of her brother.
