Chapter 29

Wesley and Keaton soon began to distance themselves from the other siblings that they went to school with. They began to only talk to their friends, parents and Lauren, who was pregnant with Keatons child at this time. This was because of the incident that Lex had put them through, and Wesley was trying to avoid them as much as possible. Keaton didn't blame the girls, but he didn't want to leave his brothers side, so he followed him in his phase of distancing himself.

Their mother tried to talk to them, tried to tell them to talk to at least Scarlet, but to no avail would they listen. Wesley was scarred. Justin became more protective of Lex after that night, and whenever Wesley started blaming Lex and Tulusia for the war between the kingdom of unborn, he attacked him. Andres and Klaus had to break the two wolves up before they killed each other, because they both were extremely aggressive that night. 

Meanwhile, Klaus was trying to get Sariba to talk to Marti and Mia to make amends to make her feel better, and James tried to tell Klaus that his sister wouldn't go for it. Marti was pulling Mia away from Sariba, saying Sariba was poison to her brain. Every time Sariba tried to talk to the princess, Marti would enter the conversation, and bring up the past of how her and Carlos killed the young ginger Scrubban. This caused Sariba to go into a depressive spiral, that she found hard to get herself out of. Klaus tried to talk to her, James, Carter, and even Griffin tried to talk to her to get her out of her state. No one could get her to laugh, let alone crack a smile.

James fully regrets sending Sariba to that human school. He knew he made a mistake, and he knew he messed up. When he realized he really fucked up, was when he visited his sister and he saw the scars. The scars on her wrists, legs, and upper arms. She was self harming herself, and he didn't know how to help her. He grabbed her that day and hugged her while she cried into his chest. "I'm sorry..I'm sorry.." She cried over and over. "Why would you hurt yourself.." James asked his little sister with tears in his eyes. She sniffled and looked up at her brother sincerely. "I have no one now.. Marti won't let anyone forgive me. You have to sneak around her just to see me, and she won't let me forget the bad I've done. I don't want to be here anymore." Sariba cried out. That was the night Marti and James broke up. That caused some of it, and Marti slipping Niall's name during intercourse caused James to go into a frenzy that only Carlos was able to get him out of. 

Mia became aware of the situation with her old friend, and began to visit her a little more, but not much. She had other things to worry about. She broke things off with Javi a couple weeks ago, because she found out she was betrothed to her cousin. At the same time, Scarlet came forward about the abuse that Javi had put her through. "Mom, he raped me.." Scarlet said softly to her mother that night. Mia was enraged, and so was Andres. They had both tried to kill Javi, multiple times. But every time they'd kill him, his father would make a potion to bring him back. He had kidnapped Scarlet, and Katrina, twice to use as sex slaves for his father. Luke had become extremely frustrated and almost gave up on the fact that no one would allow him to have his imprint, but the fact being that Scarlet knew that Luke cheated on her, didn't help her willingness to leave. It was Keaton who saved her both times, and that was when she began to fall in love with Keaton.

Than Silver felt pity for him when Javi showed up on her doorstep with whip marks on his back, asking for a place to stay. She let him stay with her, without asking Andres, and this caused a fight between them. What about their children? What about Scarlet? Silver felt pity for the youngest brother, but the oldest brother didn't care. He dug his own grave and that's all Andres saw it as. He eventually got over it, but their bond was weakened and this would affect them later on in life.

There was another problem at hand. Griffin and Justin were pissed. Pissed at how the Scrubbans treated their cousin, and pissed at how no one seemed to care. They wanted them to feel the pain she felt, and as much has Carter objected, they both didn't care. They were heading to the north, to make them feel the pain with or without their brother. But this would be where Griffin would meet his imprint, and he just doesn't know it yet.
