Griffin and Justin had made it to the Northern Kingdom to confront Mia, when James stopped them in their tracks before they could reach the palace. "What are you two doing here.. Where's Sariba." James hissed at his cousins furious. He knew what happened with his sister, and he knew she shouldn't be alone. Justin scoffed at James and Griffin rolled his eyes. "Carter and Carson are with her. We want to have a word with Mia." Griffin growled back at James. Justin held his brother back to stop him from shifting and attacking the Southern. "No. You two get aggressive easily." James argued back. He saw the rage in the two boys eyes, and he knew that they blamed Mia for his sisters spiral.
However, they didn't listen to James, and pushed right past him and headed towards the castle. Griffin banged on the door continuously until a brown skinned girl with brown curly hair opened the door. "May I help you.." the girl said softly, but held authority in her voice at the same time. Griffin was speechless, and Justin knew what had happened. His brother had found his imprint at the worst possible timing. "Um.. we're here to speak with Mia." Justin said speaking on his brothers behalf. The girl nodded at the boys and made eye contact with Griffin. "Hello.. who May you be.." she said as she stepped towards the wolf.
Griffin backed away from her, afraid of hurting her. He knew his anger got the best of him sometimes, but when she grasped his arms to stop him from backing away, he instantly calmed down. "I'm Griffin.. and you." Griffin said, tripping over his words. Justin looked at his older brother with disbelief. He's never seen Griffin so nervous before, and it was definitely out of his personality. "I'm Elle.. Queen of the Middle Kingdom.. my Kingdom got taken over so the Akuchias are letting me reside here for now.." she said softly. Justin gaped at what she said. His brother had imprinted on royalty, and not only that, but she lost her throne. "Look.. we just want to see Mia." Justin said impatiently.
At that moment, another young vampire exited the castle. This girl was also dark skinned, but had an aura the wolves read that showed she could be extremely pushy. "Mia isn't home right now. She's with Javi and Antonio.." The girl said crossing her eyes and glaring at the wolves. Griffin glared at the girl, not sure whether or not to believe her. "Okay and who are you, and why should I believe you." Griffin almost growled but the Queen sent a small glared causing him to soften his tone. The young vampire chuckled at the wolves, not understanding who they were or why they were here. "I'm Bayflower Scrubban, or Bay.. I'm the newest turn." She said confidently.
Justin growled in annoyance. "Just what we need. A Scrubban in our way. Grif call the Penas." Justin growled as he stormed back out of the portal heading home. Bay raised an eyebrow at the older wolf, who just raised his hand in her face to stop her from talking. Griffin turned to the Queen, and kissed her hand gently. "I hope to meet you again sometime." He said softly. He then jumped back through the portal after his younger brother, and headed home to Carter and Carson who were currently watching Sariba like a hawk.
"I don't need babysitters guys.." Sariba said to the blonde and brunette boy in front of her. They looked at eachother and than back at the young girl. "Nuggie.. you hurt yourself because of some vampire." Carter said softly. This only caused Sariba to roll her eyes in offense. "I'm also a vampire, don't speak with that tone.." Sariba growled at her tone. Carson sat next to the girl and put a hand on her shoulder. "We're just trying to help Sar.. don't take your anger out on us.." he said softly. Sariba would never admit it but she always had a crush on Carson. She knew she was with Klaus right now, and she loved him. But she couldn't help but admire Carson's features. His perfect smile, how his eyes were so deeply brown you could sink in them, it was hypnotizing. She never planned for Carlos or Ty to happen. She never loved Ty, and she had feelings for Carlos but she wasn't sure if it was love.
Than a snap of fingers distracted her from her daydream. She snapped out of it and saw Carson and Carter looking at her in amusement. "You good?" Carson chuckled. Sariba, flustered, just nodded at the two boys. "I'm gonna go to my room for a bit.. I'll be okay.." Sariba sighed softly. They both sighed and nodded in agreement as she headed to her room. She went to bed that night thinking of not her boyfriend, but her cousins best friend. And she couldn't help to think if maybe he was her actual meant to be.
