The Denial of Love (Story 16 - Part 4)

With Dexx:

The Velociraptor demoness and Anglerfish demon had decided to take a break from all the dancing they had done, the two now sitting at a small table at the bar area.

The Velociraptor demoness had already ordered several drinks, and was feeling a little dizzy whereas Dexx only had a few.

The two were laughing, having both forgotten what they had been doing just a few hours before.

The Velociraptor demoness had been enjoying her time with Dexx, having forgotten about the mission Jerry had sent her out to do, and Dexx had completely forgotten about leaving the city after having pulled off that big heist the day before.

"Wait, so your ex boyfriend had been spending most of his time at the saloon, drinking might I add, instead of doing his job? How did he even become sheriff in the first place?" asked Dexx, the Anglerfish demon trying to understand what had happened during Venno's last hunt.

Venno chuckled, the Velociraptor demoness looking a little flustered as he glanced down at her glass.

"I don't know, but he's most likely the deputy now, since he really seemed like he wanted to change" said Venno, shrugging before finishing off her drink.

Dexx hummed in thought and nodded, the Anglerfish demon also appeared a little flustered from the few drinks he had, but was still able to maintain himself.

"You also said he missed you, right? Do you feel the same?" asked Dexx, tilting his head to the side, the Anglerfish demon not realizing he had even asked this.

Venno scoffed, the Velociraptor demoness smirking.

"Do I miss him? Not really, no. I mean, I feel better after actually getting the chance to talk to him, but I'm going to miss dating him" said Venno.

Dexx silently sighed in relief, happy to hear this.

"And why is that, might I ask?" asked Dexx, the Anglerfish demon only joking around with this question before deciding to finish off his own drink.

Venno chuckled and smirked, the Velociraptor demoness unaware of what she was even saying.

"Because now I have you to share my love with" said Venno, openly admitting what she would normally have never said aloud.

Dexx was shocked when he heard this, the Anglerfish demon gasping, causing him to accidentally swallow his drink and making him cough.

The second the Anglerfish demon managed to regain himself, he suddenly found himself face to face with Venno, the Velociraptor demoness having leaned across the table and was smiling lovingly.

"Are you telling the truth?" asked Dexx, the Anglerfish demon hoping that it was true and not just the drinks Venno had.

Venno simply nodded, choosing not to say a word as she just smiled.

Dexx was unsure of what to do, the Anglerfish demon blushing brightly and in shock.

Venno was so close that there was nowhere for the Anglerfish demon to go, not that he wanted to leave anyway.

Without warning, the Velociraptor demoness grabbed either side of Dexx's face and pulled him close enough so they were now in a passionate kiss.

The Anglerfish demon was in shock once more, having never expected Venno to be the one to do this first.

Nonetheless, despite the Velociraptor demoness making the first move, Dexx was able to quickly regain himself and kiss back.
