" So you still live," I hear that deep familiar voice, I instinctively turn and use the dagger to stab him yet he catches my hand and twists me around pointing the dagger to my chest. My chest rises and falls at the proximity. The closeness reminding me of the other time. I twist my whole body to get out of the position and end up facing him, while he still has a hold on my hand that holds the dagger. He then raises my hand to his lips and places a gentle kiss on the back of my hand sending a funny feeling all over my body. Looking up at my uneasy self a smirk pulls on his lips. Looking at him now he has decent features a well-defined jaw and his dark blonde hair is short at the sides leaving a curly mess above with a few strands hanging over his forehead. He is also incredibly tall which shocks me as I never noticed his height in our first meeting. "Let's play shall we?" he asks smiling at me which brings a scowl to my face. I rip my hand out of his grasp which he allows and try to stab him again to which he dodges to the right and I fall forward. Quickly turning around I swing my hand upward towards him only leaving a cut on the side of his face. The scar instantly disappears, leaving no traces behind, facing me a smug look overtakes his features while I stand there flabbergasted. No, I must focus I will not fail again. Regaining myself I lunge forward to stab his abdomen only for him to grasp both my hands stopping the dagger. His grip becomes tight as he lifts both my hands above my head keeping me in that position " What do you want? " I ask, " So she does have a fire inside her, " he says chuckling.

"Drop the dagger peach," he says looking into my eyes. Standing my ground I stare back at him, this causes him to release an irritated sigh. "Stubborn I see, if you don't drop that dagger I won't feel sorry for what I do to you." A feeling told me that he didn't mean killing me Hesitantly dropping the knife to the floor, I then try to loosen his grip on my wrists. "Ah ah, and the dagger in your pouch on the left of your leg too," he says with a knowing smirk. "How am I supposed to take it out without my hands?" I ask getting irritated. Rolling his eyes, he then bends down, furrowing my brows at him his smug look returns. I gasp feeling my dress lift a bit and then his cold hands on my flesh, his hand slowly slides up my leg until it reaches the pouch. He takes the dagger out and then rises to his feet holding the dagger, releasing my wrists he then examines the knife. "Your dagger is covered in juniper, so you never were actually going to kill me were you?" he looks at me with a knowing smile. Juniper is a herb that's used against them, it doesn't kill them but paralyzes them long enough to actually kill them. That is how they catch some of them. For me, I would have paralyzed him, then gone to have fetched one of my brothers to end this heartless creature's life. I would be considered a coward for not doing this myself but I save lives, ending them is very different.

" What do you want?" I ask again. "I came to find the whereabouts of the council but I was distracted by someone," he says looking me up and down. "Red does seem to be your colour," " What do you want with the council?" I ask. " That does not concern you with what I want from them, but I do know that you are a part of the council, you might be of use to me," he says staring at me with dark eyes. I start to back away feeling the door behind me.

"I'll never share anything about the council," I say trying to feel for the door handle. "You defend people that have kept so many secrets from you," he says laughing at my confused face. "What do you know?" I ask. "More than you think." I suddenly feel dizzy, seeing two of everything, sinking to the floor. "Just on time Thea," I hear him say before blacking out.

Opening my eyes, everything is a blur. Blinking vigorously my sight becomes better, looking around I know I am not in the familiar surroundings of my room. This is someone else's room, I instinctively get out of the bed I lie in only to feel the dizziness again causing me to lose balance just a bit. " I would lie down if I were you," somebody says causing me to look around to find the voice. In the corner of the room stands the same girl whom I bumped into at the doctor, leaning against it. " You, who are you?" I ask as I regain myself. " My name is Thea, and you are Madeleine," she says in her accent as she makes her way across the room towards a robe that hangs next to the curtains. Pulling the robe the curtains open revealing the windows and a very dull sky. " You have been asleep for quite some time," she says giving me a warm smile. Her green eyes sticking out a bit through the little light and her bronze skin making it more prominent. "How do know my name?" I ask feeling very uneasy. " I know a lot about you, where you live and with whom do you spend your time. Her name is Grace right?" she asks as she sits on the bed. " I have been watching you for quite a while, well ever since your first encounter with my brother." Brother? " I would have known someone was watching me though, and what brother?" I ask. I am very confused as to what is happening all that I can remember was the company launch and then getting sent to my room and then he appeared, I look up to see a smirk on her lips as she may know that I have caught on to what is happening. " Where is he now?" I ask realising where I am. " Not here as of right now but he will be back," she says getting up and making her way to the door.

"Are you going to sit on your ass or come out," she asks turning to me raising her brow. I decide to follow her.

Walking out of the room I am greeted by a hallway that accompanies many doors holding heaven only knows what. Many paintings decorate the walls as we continue walking. The floor is covered by red carpeting giving the hall a bit of a dark feeling. We then make our way down a staircase, at the end, the exit is across and to the left and right are two other rooms. " Where are we?" I ask again while admiring the artwork done on the ceiling. "We are still in London," she says amusement evident in her voice. Turning right we make our way into a sitting area. " Make yourself comfortable," she gestures to the seat across from her. Walking around the coffee table in the middle I take a seat. She seems very nice but all of this is very strange. " You must have a lot of questions," " Why am I here?" I ask the one that's been bugging me the most. "Would you like some tea, I think herbal tea would work," she says ignoring my question. Bending down a bit towards the table, that is now full of tea and biscuits? I feel my heart drop to my stomach at this. She pours water into two cups and hands one to me. When were these placed here? "Drink, it will help with the dizziness," she says before sipping her own. Taking a small sip I then place it down on the table. Placing her own cup down she then says "You were brought here for a very important reason," she continues "Yes you were also brought here in regards to the council but there is something far greater than that." "What are you talking about?" I ask with a look of confusion. feeling dizzy again, my vision starts to blur, "Just relax and let the tea do its work," she says.
