9 : My Crazy Nightmare

We dropped them off at the bus stop.

"At what time will you come Niall?" Mom lowered the glass and said.

"Um...five in the evening?  Anyways, I'll come before you leave for work." He said, and he left, and we drove off.

"Mom...are you sure this will be alright?"

"Hopefully...but just don't let the truth out NOW...just wait until you know him a bit more."

"Yeah...alright."

I later told her about what happened to Zayn, and about our fight with Lisa.

"How come she didn't complain it to anyone?" Mom asked.

"You know HOW." I replied.

"Oh... I see. Smart. But, just be careful about that girl."

"Mom, what do you think about that voice Zayn heard. The one that said :

Take care of her till I come.

"It had to be someone related to HER. I can't think of anyone else." She said doubted.

I was taking a nap on the couch with the TV turned on. That was then the doorbell rang.

"Audrey...open the door." Mom yelled from her bedroom as she was getting ready. I was half asleep. The bell rang again.

"Okay I'll get it." She didn't notice me sleeping I guess.

"Oh hey Niall."

"Hi."

"Come on in."

I heard them talking. I didn't want to get up.

" Wake her up. It's been a while now." I heard mom.

Niall's POV :

I reached there just before Mrs. James was about to leave. I found Audrey sleeping on the couch. I didn't want to wake her up. Let her sleep. She must have just slept or something. It's cute to see her sleeping though.

"It's okay. Let her sleep." Niall said.

"Audrey ! Audrey ? Look who's here." Mom was shaking and trying to wake me up.

"Okay Rachel, you win. I'm awake." I said, and woke up looking around like a kid. "Oh, hey Niall."

"Hi."

"Rachel, I just slept like fifteen minutes ago. I was studying all-.."

"I'm sorry, but I was about to leave, and Niall came. That's why I woke you up. And FYI, I'm your mom." She said.

"Okay, bye. Love you." I said, hugged her, and she left.

"Were you really studying?" He asked me.

"Yeah." I said, rubbing my eyes. "I'll just go wash my face." and went to wash my face.

Niall's POV :

She looked so innocent while rubbing her eyes...like a small kid. I need to confess. She came down from the stairs after a minute.

"So, what do you wanna do?" I asked.

"Um...I don't know."

Something tells me he's curious to know something, or tell me something. Is he trying to hide something? I won't tell him THE TRUTH until I get to know him more.

"Why do you live so far away from the city?" He asked.

"I don't know...my dad bought this house. It was his idea." I replied.

That day went so slow. We didn't' have anything to do. We studied for some time in my room, had dinner, and it was time to sleep now.

"I won't sleep this early Niall. It's only ten." I said.

"Okay...then um...watch something in the TV till you feel sleepy." He said.

We both were sitting on my bed. I was leaning against a pillow by the side of my bed, and he was sitting right next to me, with a pillow on his lap.

I kept changing the channels, and then suddenly, we came across this channel that was showing some scary movie.

"Niall...please...I won't..."

"Shut your eyes when something scary happens." He said.

The very next second, the scene I saw was so terrifying, I screamed in terror, threw the remote, and hugged Niall.

"Is it over?" I asked him.

"Yes." He said.

"Oh that was horrible." I didn't realize I was still hugging him. I then let go of him, and sat back to my place.

"I guess you can sleep now?" He asked.

"Hopefully." I said.

He took the pillow that was on his lap, and went for the sofa near my bed, placed it at the end of the couch, and went to sleep.

It took me a while to fall asleep after what I saw. I finally fell asleep at 11:30.

Niall's POV :

I didn't know she would get so scared. She wasn't scared of someone like Lisa, but was scared of this ? I feel kinda guilty now. It must have been around two in the morning, when I heard her scream again. I woke up with a start, and found her screaming, and I felt like she was having some sort of a nightmare.

"Audrey ! Audrey...wake up." I yelled.

"NIALL..." She yelled. She woke up, sweating all over. She immediately hugged me and said "I saw something...it was-..."

"Shhh...that was just a dream. Now, go to sleep." I patted her back, trying to convince her. She had a really tight grip of me. She was still hugging me. I tried to loosen her grip, but she didn't seem happy with that.

I didn't really sleep well last night. She hadn't let go of me. I just sat back leaning to the side of the bed, with her hugging me, and fell slept the whole night.

"Niall?" I heard someone calling me. It was Mrs. James.

"Oh...hi um...she...had a dream last night...she didn't let go of me."

"I see." She said.

"Please...don't misunderstand...."I started.

"Did I say anything?" She laughed and asked.

I woke up and found Niall sitting beside me, me hugging him, and mom sitting in front of us.

"Good morning Audrey." She said.

"Huh? What happened last night?" I asked Niall.

"You had some dream...you screamed...it woke me...you held onto me the whole night...and now you woke up." He replied.

"I'll make breakfast. Come down both of you." Mom said, and left the both of us alone in the room.

"Are you alright now?" He asked me, got up, and opened the windows in my room.

"Yea...I guess."

He looked so charming even after a bad night...I mean...he looked gloomy, but still charming as usual. Those ocean blue eyes were shining bright as ever under the early sun's rays.

Niall's POV :

I felt sorry for her. It was my fault last night. But, she didn't look like anything happened to her last night. She looked gorgeous as usual.

"What dream did you see last night?" He asked me.

"Not a dream. A nightmare!"  I replied. "Where you were killing me."
