4 : Was it HER ?

I was about to say something, but Harry suddenly said "We saw a-..." he paused. I kept staring at him, and then Niall. Just then, Niall blurted out "A scary book."

"What the-.." Elsa started.

Then Niall said "Yeah. It had all sorts of stuff you need to know about-.." he paused, looked at me, and continued "Ghosts. Trust me, don't even think about reading that book. The cover looked horrible."

"Whoa! Cool." Liam said." We SHOULD check that out then."

"Oh no...um...not NOW." I said.

"Why NOT now?" Liam asked.

"Yeah. BETTER not go now." Harry said.

"But...why?" Elsa asked. I was just staring at Harry.

"They said they're gonna close it any moment when we left." Harry said.

"Oh come on...please. That book sound interesting." Liam said. "Okay, maybe some other day."

That was a relief. "Yeah, maybe some other day." Niall said. I could see he was still quivering. Harry looked sort of normal now, but Niall ?

That day was quite boring. It was twelve noon. We were told to leave by twelve thirty. We went out of the campus. I looked around. No sign of mom.  Zayn was off to drop Elsa in his car. The other four were going by bus.

"How are you gonna go?" Liam asked.

"I don't know. My mom doesn't know-.." and just then, she came. She parked the car and walked towards me.

Liam was just staring at my mom. "Hello Mrs. James. I'm Liam." He said.

"Hello Liam. Nice to meet you."

"Wow." Louis said. "You look like sisters. Twin sisters. Except for your eyes."

He was right. I looked just like my mom, except I had brown eyes like dad. Mom had dark black eyes. We both had the same short black hair, same height, and everything else too.

"Yeah. She's got her dad's eyes." Mom said. "How are you guys going? Want a drop?"

"No, we'll use the bus. Thank you." Liam said.

"Okay then, I'll drop you at the bus-stop. Come on." Mom said.

Niall and Harry exchanged looks. Liam stood there confused. Then Louis started "Well, its-." She didn't' wait for him to complete. 

"Oh come on. It's alright." She said.

"Okay. We'll come." Liam said. Mom walked towards the car, and all four of them followed me. I got in the front with mom, and the four of them at the back.

"The one near Starbucks right?" Mom turned back and asked.

"Yeah. That one." Liam said. We drove off.

"Rachel, how did you know it was a half day today?" I asked mom. I could hear Louis cracking up, and Liam giggling quietly. Niall and Harry just kept quiet. "Is that how you call her all the time Audrey?" Liam asked me.

"Not always, but yeah. I don't have anyone else to talk to, so yeah." I replied.

Mom was just staring at me "One of your professors had informed me about it at around eleven thirty." She said. "And FYI, I'm your mom. Don't call me that."

"Okay. As you say so Rache-.." She stared at me, and I said "Okay mom." I laughed and said.

We stopped at a traffic signal. Niall was peering out of the window like a little boy, eager to go on his first day of school, but he looked sort of worried. Even Harry looked quite upset. I turned back to see him just staring at the car next to ours. He looked like he was worried about something. One seeing me, he tried to act normal.
