10 : Bruised and Betrayed

"What ?" He asked shockingly.

"Yeah. You were strangling me to death."

"Why would I do that ?"

"I don't know...but that's why I screamed out your name while I was dreaming." I said. "I don't know why...but I feel like I should avoid you for some days. Like...don't get me wrong, because to me, you re someone who tried to kill me."

"But that was just a dream Audrey." He said."Okay, I won't come from tomorrow."

I felt bad. Really bad. It was just a dream...I get it. But, why do I feel I should avoid him in real life. Don't let him go Audrey. Don't ! said a voice inside me.

"Niall...wait..."

"What ?" He turned and asked. He was staring at me.

"I'm...I'm sorry." I said, and I hugged him.

Niall's POV :

I understand it was hard to stay with someone who tried to kill...even though it was just a dream. It was my fault. I shouldn't have watched that movie with her last night. I guess that's why she gets such dreams.

"It's...it-.."

"Guys, come on down. Breakfast in ten minutes."  Mom yelled from downstairs.

"I'll take a shower and leave. I can't go to class with all the stuff I bought." He said.

"Alright. But, at least have your breakfast and leave." I insisted.

"Alright." He said, and went to take a shower, but then stopped and asked "Did you go somewhere last night...while sleeping ? I remember I couldn't feel you next to me for a while."

"Maybe I slipped off." I replied.

Niall left at half past seven. Mom dropped me half an hour later. I got out of the car, and found Niall was already there.

"Just be careful." Mom lowered her glass and said.

"Okay." I said, and she drove off.

Niall looked really tired now. His eyes were looked heavy and sleepless.

"Will you be fine ?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure." He replied. "I don't mind staying up at night trying to ensure you're alright."

"Huh?"

"Hey guys. How did your sleep over go?" Louis burst out of nowhere, with the others right behind him.

"Not as expected." Niall said effortlessly.

"What ? What happened ?" Elsa asked.

Niall glanced at me, smiled and said "She had some nightmare last night...where I was killing her."

"WHAT THE HELL ?" Harry exclaimed. "Is this true?"

"Yeah." I replied.  I narrated the whole incident to them, about how we watched some movie, I got scared, how I woke up in the middle of my sleep, how he helped me out, and how we slept after that.

"Strange." Zayn said. "Please don't tell me this has something to do with what's happening to me."

"Oh don't talk rubbish Zayn." Elsa said. "Seriously?"

"Kindly explain to me what happened outside your house last night." Zayn asked Elsa.

"Wait...what? What happened ? Where?" Niall asked.
