12 : To Love or Not ?

"Yeah. Yesterday." I said bluntly.

"Audrey...did you really....but when did you-.." Niall started.

"Yes. What...what's wrong with that?" I asked.

"No. Nothing. Never mind."He said.

Niall's POV :

WHEN did she do all this? She didn't leave the house after I came. We went for a walk after dinner. That was the only time she went out, but I was there. She went to the doctor with her mom. I bet she wouldn't dare to do something like that when her mom was around her.

"Guys...that dog...and cat...again..." Zayn started. "I had zero sleep last night."

"But...that was at Elsa's place, right?" I asked.

"Yeah...and this time, at my place." Zayn said. "I'm really getting scared now."

"Zayn...I'm telling you. You NEED to stop worrying. You are giving way for your own weaknesses if you keep thinking about it." I explained.

"I can't. It just keeps troubling me day and night." He said.

"We need to meet some priest." Niall suggested. "That's the only-.."

"NO! That'll be too risky." I burst out.

"And why? I think that is the best option." Niall said.

"I think we should just wait for some more time...this CAN'T be a coincidence. Definitely not. A cat, a dog, some lady...the priest will probably think we ran away from some rehab if we tell him all this." Elsa said.

"What about the VOICES I've been hearing?" Zayn asked. "That's definitely not crazy. And that shadows I saw at the library? You call that crazy?"

"I would rather call YOU crazy Zayn. You're just imagining things." Elsa said.

"But-.."

"Enough. Class starts in five minutes. We've got physics first. Joanne. Let's go." Elsa said.

"But Elsa...listen-..." Zayn started, but Elsa just pulled him to class.

"Not so fast newbie." Lisa called out from behind us. Jake was also with her. "You think I'll let you go just like that after you beat up my boyfriend?"

"Shut up Lisa." Elsa said, as she covered me from Lisa.

"Oh...so this was all your plan, huh ?"Lisa asked. "Tell me slut, how will you feel if I beat up your boyfriend like you did to Jake?" She asked Elsa.

"I swear to God, one more time you call her a slut-.." Zayn yelled.

"Or what? I'll call her again. SLUT. SLUT. SLU-.." I punched her again.

"How dare you punch her in my presence?" Jake protested.

"Want some more?" I asked.

He didn't say anything about THAT after I spoke, but what Lisa said after that shook me.

"Get away from here daddy's girl. Oh wait...you don't have one, right? Awwh...poor Audrey has to live alone with her mommy. Tell me, how did he die?" Lisa asked.

"None of your bloody business." I said in a low voice, and stormed away. I still heard her saying

"Ha...I pity her widowed mother. Such a shame. Her dad must have been some insult to their family I guess."

I got really angry at her for that. I ran back to punch her, but this time Niall stopped me pointing at professor Joanne from a distance. He shoved me away from there, and back to class.
