"Our Secret"

Chapter 28

I walk out of her classroom, feeling my eyes tear up, but I wasn't sure why.

As I turn the corner I see her. Which made me happy.

"Oh, hi Mariah." She says smiling.

I hurry and wipe my eyes and quickly smile back. "Hey Page." Her smile was so pretty, I noticed. Which made me smile even more wide.

"So, what time do you want to come over?"

My eyes widen slightly, rushing her into the bathroom. "Uh, be more quiet, okay?"

Her eyebrows frown. "Uh, okay..."

I continue the conversation by saying "How bout 7?"

"Perfect." She says looking at my lips, which made me want to kiss her. So I did.

I feel her smiling while I kiss her. Then we hear footsteps outside of the bathroom, which made us quickly pull away from each other's lips. Luckily, it was just someone walking by.

"I'll see you tonight," she says, putting a finger under my chin, lifting my head slightly then kisses me. She doesn't let me say anything after she pulls away, and just leaves smiling.

I smile, then walk out of the bathroom, just thinking about how our little hang out is gonna go. I was thinking if I should wear something sexy, or just casual. As I walk down by the office I see Aniya. I see her talking with the principal, and I got worried, and scared that Page had said something about us.

She walks out of the office. "Hey," I start. "what was she talking to you about? Did something happen?"

"Hey. Nothing happened, I was just talking to her about...'' She looks to the floor, frowning.

This made me nervous. "About....?''

She hesitates, then looks up at me. Then smiles. ''I'm just messing with you. We were talking about the papers I printed for next class."

I sighed, thinking it was something bad. "Oh," I laughed. ''Well I should go. My moms waiting for me outside...''

She gives me puppy dog eyes, and holds my hand for a split second, but then remembered were at school, then lets go to look around to see if anyone had seen. She clears her throat. ''Um, are you sure I can't just pick you up and we can just talk for a little bit?" She whispered. ''Im sure your mom won't mind, if you tell her your going with a friend just to drive around. Please. I miss you. And I'd love to finish what we started in my apartment.''

I look at her frowning. Because I had remembered that Im going to Pages tonight, and I didn't want to tell her that, because I knew what her initial reaction would be. But the thought of finishing what we started in her bedroom made it harder for me to focus.

"I'm sorry, Mrs Parker.'' I say, tilting my head just a little, and smiling at the fact that I hadn't used that name in quite a while. And that I obviously couldn't say her name. ''I'm sure my mom won't mind either. Its just..." I look down to the floor, looking for a lie to make up. ''Its just, I don't know if I want to hang out today...'' I lie. ''Im sorry. I just don't feel so good. I'm sorry.'' I say again.

She looks at me with a disappointed look on her face, but keeps a forced smile. "Oh, no its fine. I hope you get better, though. Ill see you tomorrow, Mariah.'' She says before walking off.

I felt really bad. Really... But I'm glad she actually cared for me... and I also don't know why I'm doing this whole thing with Page. But then again, I am doing this for me and Aniya's relationship.

I think.

I get home and find something to wear to Pages. It was easy, I found a tight white short sleeve, and grey sweat pants.

6:30 comes around, and Page calls me.

''Hey you.'' She says in a flirty tone.

''Hey,'' I say ''I thought you were gonna call me at 8?''

She laughs. ''I was... but I couldn't wait to see you. Mind if I come over to pick you up now?''

She was so cute. Her laugh was so cute, which made me smile, not thinking about anything, or anyone else. Just, her.

"Oh, no, I don't mind. At all, actually."

"Perfect. Be there in 20. I can't wait to kiss you again."

I smile even more wide. "Me too."

She laughs her cute laugh. "Bye, Mariah." Then hangs up before I could say goodbye.

I bite my lip barley, just thinking about Page. Who knew she could be so adorable and caring? And so sweet, and cute. And who knew I would catch feelings with her so fast? And all while I have a girlfriend?
