Bachelorette: alcohol + dancing... strippers?

"puppy shopping".

The day after, Maya and Carina moved the blonde's stuff into their house and put items such as furniture into storage. After speaking that morning, they decided although they both desperately wanted a dog, it would probably be for the best that they got settled into their new life living together first.

One month later...

They had spent their first month living together and they couldn't be happier. They had been dating for five months now but to them it felt like an eternity. There was one thing playing on both of their minds, but neither had brought it up to the other.

Carina's friend Teddy, who also works at the label, was currently sitting in her office with her. "So... when are you going to do it?".

"Are you insane?" Carina replied, "I cannot propose after 5 months of being together!".

"You love her, right?" Teddy raised her eyebrows.

"Well yes" Carina said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Rules of love do not exist, if you feel it's right, it doesn't matter how long you have been together".

"Ugh you are only saying this because you are getting married!" Carina laughed and shook her head.

"I know exactly... but trust me it's amazing" Teddy squealed and smiled widely, "do not forget, tonight 7pm. Same club as always and see where we go from there" Teddy said as she got up to leave.

Teddy's bachelorette party was tonight and obviously Carina was invited. Maya however was not. Teddy hadn't spent much time with Maya so she didn't really know her that well, but she was hoping once all her spare time wasn't taken up by wedding planning, she could get to know her better. Carina was excited for tonight, she loved to dance and have fun with her friends, but she was kind of bummed she wouldn't be with Maya.

Teddy and Carina have been friends for a long time. They started off at the bottom of their careers together and have supported each other ever since. Being friends for around 10 years, they have picked up a couple of friends along the way, one including Gabriella.

"You do know Gabriella is coming tonight right?" Teddy asked as she was about to open the door.

Carina sighed, "yes, yes I know. I haven't told Maya yet though".

"Look, you used to have sex with one of our friends. Big deal. If you want my advice, tell her. Don't let her find out afterwards, you know how the reputations of bachelorette parties go".

"I know, she's not a fan of Gabriella either. When we went to a club to celebrate Maya when she joined the company, Gabriella got a little too close and Maya stormed out".

"Well good luck" Teddy chuckled and left the room, Maya following in after her.

"Hey Teddy" Maya said, Teddy responding, "hi" sweetly.

Maya shut the door behind her, "hey gorgeous".

"Maya bella I need to talk to you" Carina said with a small smile as she got up to sit on the sofa.

Maya followed and took her hand, "is everything alright?" she asked worried.

"Y-yes erm. Well, you know Teddy's party is tonight yes?" Maya nodded in response as Carina continued, "and you know that our friends are going to be there".

Maya nodded knowing where this was going, "Gabriella will be there?" she asked.

"Yes" Carina confirmed, looking down at their intertwined fingers.
