WEEK ONE

Almost 7 days had passed since Carina and Maya departed and it was safe to say they were both missing each other more than they had in the first half of the tour. They were grateful for the time they could spend chatting to each other on the phone. They were however both trying to hide their feelings of missing one another, afraid that if they mentioned it to the other, it would make them sad and worry.

"Just talk to her about it" Amelia said on facetime to Maya.

"I would but... I just don't want her to be upset... or worried about me... or anything else. I just feel like if I tell her it will make everything worse for both of us" Maya sighed.

"Have you maybe, stopped to think that she is feeling the same way as you?" Amelia pointed out.

"Has she said something to you?" Maya said quickly.

"No, she hasn't... but why would she? If she was feeling the same way as you, not wanting to worry you, why would she tell me when she knows I would tell you?".

"Good point" Maya chuckled lightly.

"You love her, right?" Amelia said and Maya nodded, "you're meant to be able to lean on one another in times of need. Just talk to her".

"You're right... I'll call her" Maya gave a half smile.

"Look on the bright side... only three more weeks. And let's not forget the little box that is waiting for you in my house for when you get back".

"Mhm oh I'm definitely going to need that" Maya laughed, "my goodness I- I just can't bear to be away from her... it's pathetic I know" Maya laughed.

"It's not pathetic... you love her... she is literally your soulmate... you're not meant to want to spend time away from her" Amelia explained, and Maya smiled widely. "So, have you got a plan on how you're going to propose?".

"Of course, I have" Maya laughed, "I'm not wasting another minute when I get back, so you better be at home to give it to me straight away".

"Obviously" Amelia laughed, "so tell me. What's your plan?".

"Uh uh, absolutely not" Maya smiled and shook her head for no, "I am not telling you because sober or drunk you will let something slip to Carina... this is too important to spoil or mess up".

Amelia playfully rolled her eyes, "okay fine... well if you're not going to tell me, get your ass off my screen and ring you hot Italian almost fiancée".

"I will... thank you" Maya smiled.

"Always... stay safe, see you later" Amelia smiled before the call ended.

Maya brought up Carina's contact and took a deep breath, "Okay... here goes". She pressed call and it answered, "hi baby" she smiled.

"Hello bella... you look beautiful as always" Carina smiled, letting out a yawn mid-sentence.

"Thank you gorgeous" Maya blew her a kiss, "I know it's late, but I wanted to call and talk to you".

"It's okay I'm always up for a chat, one second" Carina said as Maya heard a voice in the background, "yes I'll be in in a little" Carina replied to the person in the background.

"Are you with someone?" Maya asked.

"Yes, yes Teddy is here... she came over for dinner but she's staying over now" Carina explained.
